La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbus MS

I was suppose to have a King room. It is what I reserved, but was given a pool side double queen. The pool was closed!

That there was water available in the lobby

Everything about this hotel was far below my expectations. It was dirty, dingy, it smelled horribly and alternately smelled so strongly of some nauseating scent that was attempting to mask the odor, it was falling apart. Pictures online misleading!

I did not like Saturday night somebody was smoking, the smell came by the bathroom extractor that maybe communicate with the next bathroom ,I don't know but the smell was horrible in the room and we noticed right away when came in at night in the room.

The ladies that work in the breakfast room are nicest employees. Very friendly and helpful.

The shower had mold in it, sealing was cracked in several places, AC sounded like a jet taking off. Our shower stopped up and my husband was told by staff at the front desk to pull the shower drain off and pull the hair out of the shower. My husband fix

The room was filthy and reeked of marijuana.

The friendliness of the staff

The lack of wifi and malfunctioning of the TV/card system. Weather in the area impacted all of these things; however, these events made my event less satisfying since I could not get access to a reliable internet connection, watch TV or get room key

Location is undesirable. Lots of noise. Pillows were flat & hard. No convenient outlet for coffee maker. No breakfast food available at 9:40 am.

The shower has leakage problems which have evidently existed for some time. Caulking was deteriorated and the metal water barrier was not sealed at all which resulted in lots of water running out onto the floor.

The Breakfast Lady literally made our stay extra enjoyable. Front desk ladies answered all our questions and offered 2 extra pillows for my husband's asthma as he cannot sleep laying flat.

Not at all. We traveled from N.C. for a relatives 75 birthday. Very clean & comfortable.

this is a very new hotel- the facilities were clean, and the breakfast area was nice.

The location is next to a hollowed-out waffle house and a dying mall. It is however near downtown which was convenient

The location was convenient and the staff was friendly. The structure was sound and in good repair.

Our room could have been vacuumed more thoroughly, but otherwise all was good.

No ice machines on the 1st floor. Dude, really?!?

No,room was just a little dusty,and found some condiments behind the dresser but I really enjoyed my stay there.

Room was too dark. Lamps didn't help much Décor was purple and puke green. Chair was dirty. No hair dryer.

Loved the location. Staff tried to make everything comfortable. Breakfast was good. Most of the staff greeted me.

No Hand Sanitizer breakfast area nor at check-in desk. Temperature was not adjustable with thermostat in room. I froze the first night. I told young man at desk and he had someone to work on the thermostat. The room got too warm and couldn¿t be adjusted

Location of the hotel, Manager of the hotel, and some of the staff were very courteous.

Finally the price rate per night I got was satisfying but could have been better.
