Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Cape Girardeau

The friendly management team..hotel employee (could be twin of a dear friend of ours), other hotel employees who checked us in late that evening.

The rooms were clean and modern.

The air conditioning could not be set any lower than 71 degrees. I woke up in my sleep hot.

Our tv didn?t work and from the front desk was unable to solve the problem. I think the hdmi cable was stolen.

When we got to the hotel at 7:30 PM, we were informed they had overbooked and we had no room. They offered us a suite for $50 more instead of just putting us in it since our room was no longer available We did that since no available room elsewhere.

The service was great beds where comfortable.

Front desk staff super kind and knowledgeable No issues - would consider a 3.5 star hotel

Great hospitality

The breakfast was good. It was a very convenient location, close to the interstate. The bed was amazing! The facilities were clean and the staff was very helpful.

That I had to leave.

Breakfast was perfect to fill the void. Loved the waffle machine.

This hotel was extremely clean and quiet!! The staff was beyond friendly and welcoming and checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was in order! Breakfast was good and the 11 am check out was great!!

Nothing that the hotel can change other than location, you can hear the highway traffic but it’s not bad.

We decided to stay an extra night and had to pay another $60 incidental fee so $120 total! Ridiculous!!

Glad to have fridge and microwave. Two hooks for towels to hang esp important as apparently no maid service.

No clock in room. No place to plug in second occupants electronic devices. Uncomfortable chairs (both) no night lighting in bathroom. I would have placed the long mirror across from the bathroom so you could access an electric outlet. Shower grab bars in a useless location.

Good pool. Handy for overnight stops near interstate road.

Couldn’t really cater for gluten free breakfast and stopped serving breakfast at 9am and we missed it as was different to the information we had. Quite noisy close to the main road. Nowhere quiet to sit outside.

Breakfast was just ok. Some real fresh fruit would be lovely and a high protein yogurt; the one offered very sweet.

Breakfast staff were the absolute best!! Kind, helpful, went above and beyond for my nephew by getting him something from the back that wasn’t on the breakfast bar that morning.

It was a one night stay but great. The only problem I had was there was no conditioner in the bottle provided by the hotel.
