    Pros +

    • The location in Rochester. It was in a great vicinity to all of the things we wanted to do & see.
    • The location was perfect. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The rooms were exceptionally clean.
    • The bed and TV were fine. Very high priced. The restroom was small. the door on the restroom was too close to the floor. I say this because the floor rug on the floor keeps getting caught when opening and closing the door.

    Cons -

    • there are NO USB ports in the room we had. Also we had to park in the parking ramp and tried coming to the hotel through the subway and we were locked out at 8:30pm! No key card entry so had to go find our way through the maze below the streets.
    • We liked everything about this hotel.
    • One of the desk patrons said check out time was Noon. And I said the website said it was 3:00 PM. And she said "no no it's noon". Then I said, "You need to change that then." She laughed and I left. other then that, I'd give it a 5 out of 10.

    Convenience of nearby restaurants

Expensive parking in tunnel, not an available psrking lot and there is a $16 fee to park overnight. You have to walk a long way from parking lot through tunnel and take 2 elevators just to get to Marriott hotel rooms. charge for EVERYTHING - rude staf

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-26-2019

Location and for the most part has always been very clean.

crumbs on our floor and a pop can under the night stand. Not as clean as in the past.

Location was perfect. Staff was courteous and accommodating

Parking could be better. In addition bed was not very comfortable

    10TimPosted on: 6-13-2018

It was friendly clean and located in the heart of Rochester.

    Nope!

    The location to Mayo.

The air conditioner didn't work well. Pretty hot in the room. Second time we stayed in this hotel and each time, the whirlpool didn't work right - the water was not hot enough.

Location and connection to Mayo Gonda building was fabulous. Rooms were large, clean and updated. Bathroom had a walk in shower.

Shower floor was very slippery. It was beautiful and spacious though.

They were able to get me in early as I was on a lay over. Staff was so gracious!

The sink in 1032 drained a bit slow.

    proximity to Mayo Clinic

interior rooms facing courtyard are very dark.

    6Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 12-5-2017

    Check in was fast!

Everything was great except im not sure if the fridge was not plugged in or was out of service. However i didnt notice until day of checkout.

Location is good for accessing the Mayor clinics. Friendly staff.

Terrible parking situation. Poor lighting in bathroom for my wife to prepare. Staff made commitments to provide supplemental lighting and a bedside fan. Failed to follow up with me regarding the light. Broken fan. Also curdled creamer in room.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-18-2017

Clean, quite, staff was very helpful and understanding when we were trying to find our way to the hotel due to a Thursday festival the town does.

great location ...the room was spacious, clean and nicely appointed

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 2-7-2017

Great location, very clean and beautiful room

The air conditioning did not work. We did not realize this until we woke up at 3am super hot. Luckily the window was able to be cracked open. The shower did not work right either.

    4Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 11-14-2016

I loved how close it was to the clinic and places to dine.

The cost did not meet the expectations. The room lacked a mini fridge and microwave and the coffee was very small and filtered. The bed however was amazing, super comfortable with luxourious pillows. Which is the only reason I gave an average score.

    10LarryPosted on: 11-13-2016

Great hotel newly remodeled great service and everyone was super friendly. If you have an elite membership they have a concierge room and food. They have a connecting underground tunnel with shops and restaurants that take you to Mayo Clinic.

No everything about this hotel was first class and great. Would be a great hotel to visit even if you are not going to Mayo clinic.

    10WilliamPosted on: 10-25-2016

Everything was very nice... Wonderful facility, great staff, very comfortable rooms

Not a big fan of the parking... block to the north and $20

    10JamesPosted on: 10-17-2016

I liked the location, the room itself, the general appearance.

I didn't use the pool, but looking down from my window it looked more like a Motel 6 pool!
