    Pros +

    • Staff was friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate my need to work remotely after I checked out.
    • Keys worked well.
    • Perfect location close to everything. Lobby bar/restaurant is very good and has a great wine selection. Great hotel!

    Cons -

    • This is not a 4 star hotel, it¿s a three star hotel with a weak attempt at upscale decor. Various aspects were in need of cleaning or repair. The staff is generally kind but does not grasp that style of hospitality synonymous with a luxury brand.
    • Room was underwhelming at best for the price. The closest door was not hung properly and was just continually making a larger hole in the drywall. This was clearly noticeable but apparently not worth fixing?
    • There were ants in the room. The pictures of the suite were not reflected in the room assigned.

It was a fun event so that helped boost our experience.

There were ants in the room. The pictures of the suite were not reflected in the room assigned.

The staff were so accommodating and friendly and knowledgeable. Aveda products! The breakfast buffet was terrific.

The first room I got to had a very loud heater/fan, but I was able to switch rooms very easily. The second room I got to was much better that way, but the little refrigerator didn't work, which was a bummer but not a huge deal.

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 10-19-2021

    It was an interesting location

The room looked nothing like the images online. There was no microwave, no dressers to put clothes in, no coffee table, etc. it felt empty. Maybe I just got a bad room. But for the price I was not impressed.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-8-2020

Room was nice and clean. Loved the shower.

Didn’t like that it was connected to the Residence Inn. It was a little confusing finding the hotel because we had to enter through another entrance to get to our hotel.

    5RobertPosted on: 7-15-2020

It was in a nice spot. They used a single check in for both facilities.

The room had NO drawers for clothes! Had to stack my clothes in the closet on the top shelf or lay then on the luggage rack. They tried but it certainly missed the mark.

Design is current and attractive, location is good and staff were friendly and helpful.

Bathrooms could use a bit of an update.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 5-6-2019

The hotel was very clean and had a great vibe. There was a restaurant in the lobby and we were walking distance to downtown. The room was nice and the beds comfortable.

The TV was not centered between the 2 beds. It made it difficult to watch from one of the beds.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 2-13-2019

Very clean room, nice modern feel, comfortable bed. Complimentary local brew sampling while we waited to check in. Hotel employee at the front desk was very helpful in helping us get a map to get to the skyway system.

Had to pay for parking even tho we paid to stay. Would have liked continental breakfast.

    9ChristinePosted on: 1-22-2019

Super friendly, welcoming staff. A really nice room. Excellent breakfast buffet. So close to so many fun things in Minneapolis.

Our first night was great, but our second night was not so great. There were drunk guests everywhere, yelling and screaming and banging doors until 2am, both in our hallway and on the floor above our room.

    10PatPosted on: 1-1-2019

So much character, super friendly staff!

It's walking distance to restaurants and bars, not a bad walk at all, but was freezing out! Would be a nice walk in the summer!

    9RandallPosted on: 10-18-2018

The room was spacious, clean, and well decorated. The historic feel of the hotel was a great experience. There were photos, projectors, and monuments throughout the lobby to display the rich history of the hotel. The location was fantastic.

I was unaware going in that there would be a charge for parking. The cost per night was between $17-$25. Keep that in mind when booking.

    10AmberPosted on: 8-9-2018

I forgot her name, but the person at check-in (10 am 8/5) was awesome. Thank you. Wonderful hi l experience.

    9TiffanyPosted on: 6-6-2018

The hotel was in a fantastic location and the staff were all very helpful. The restaurant and bar area and courtyard patio were all very hip and fun-looking.

They hotel had an unfortunate issue with a water pipe bursting and taking out a bunch of rooms and the main elevators. This caused an issue with room access but they handled it the best they could.

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-24-2018

    Great location and lobby.

Room bathroom was old and nasty.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-1-2018

Very chic decor- hotel room I was clean and perfectly decorated. Felt cozy and chic. Hotel restaurant was good and the staff was fantastic

    9BrandonPosted on: 10-24-2017

Nice hotel within walking distance of many attractions.

Parking is extra so keep that in mind when booking. 15 a night
