Quality Inn Fairmont

Overall clean and quiet. Could use some maintenance but our room was good. It's convenient location off the interstate makes it easily accessible for I-90 travel.

The rear entrance door is cloudy and could be replaced. Holes in the stairwell walls could be patched.

Location

Did not feel welcomed. Employees had there kids there for breakfast in the morning and was being loud. Room did not have soap and seen that the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly.

The rooms were clean and recently enough updated.

The parking was on the side of the building instead of the front. This would not prevent me from staying there again. It was just inconvenient.

The carpet in the hallways smelled like cat piss. The hotel room stunk. Breakfast selection was very limited.

It was quiet and felt safe.

The coffee area was bleak and the coffee wasn¿t a hit for me. The bottom of the pool felt dirty, but was warm.

Great staff. Nice hot tub and pool.

The location was convenient

The air conditioner had not been turned back on after the winter. It was 70 degrees outside but our room was over 80. We were told to open a window at night. It was in the 40's. Opening a window with a 2 year old is not an option.

The pillows were comfortable

It was not the hotel I booked. I booked a king bed, the property honoring the reservations had no king beds on the property.

Very pricey for the location

You categorized this as a 2.5 star hotel, and comparable to a Holiday Inn express or a Hampton Inn. In what mind is a Quality Inn even close to the same? When I called customer service, there was no effort to solve my concern.

Good spot to stop on the way home from South Dakota to Wisconsin

Not the hotel's fault, but first time we ever had an issue switching from a King to 2 Queen's when rooms were available. Kids ended up sleeping on the floor with sleeping bags, which worked out fine. Also, breakfast was weak compared to other Quality's

The Pillows were excellent even through the beds were small (2 doubles).

The price was a little high for the type of room (2 double beds). Otherwise, it was fine.

Everything was fine. Nothing exceptional. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Just what we needed.
