Hampton Inn Minneapolis/Burnsville

Excellent staff, good breakfast, quiet rooms.

Hotel felt a bit dated. Scratchy towels in bathroom. Pool area was also closed until further notice. Nothing too terrible though.

The location was good.

The hotel lobby was clean and looked like it was fairly new. The rest of the hotel is under construction. Which it definately needs. Room was clean but old. Bed was rough. Could feel springs.

There was no notification about renovations, nothing offered to make it better. Dirty bedding, stuff hanging from the ceiling.

Great distance from the city, pool was very nice as was staff

I was not aware this was a pet friendly hotel. And the guests on the room next to me had a small dog who was barking almost all night I barely sleep because of the dog

The clerk who was working when we checked in was fantastic! She was super helpful and very knowledgeable.

The clerk in the morning, when we checked out was the complete opposite. She did not acknowledge us as we stood at the desk as she was putting on her makeup. We had to interrupt her to find out what to do with the room keys.

The office staff was helpful, polite and you could tell he like his job. The rooms were super nice, and the price was reasonable too!

Nope everything was great.

There were dead bugs on the window sill inside the room and it seems like the staff didn't clean them out for a long time.

Bed was comfortable.

Walls are thin. Door had a gap you could see through and the shower head was defective.

Location was good

Room smelled of mildew, the doors were very difficult to open and the tub had a large dip in it, and it felt like you were going to fall through. Breakfast was very picked over all juices were out, tables were all dirty and no hot food left.

Room was clean, other than water soaked carpet around the air conditioning unit.

Desk clerk seemed disinterested in her job. No smoke. I even tried to cheer her up! Two big yawns while checking me in. Hotel is very dated, but clean. Surprised this is still a Hampton Inn. Others in the area are much more updated.

Proximity to to hospital

Tub dirty Cover smelled like soap Daughter who was hospital patient called the hotel asking for me and they said I was not staying at that hotel. Room smelled very very musty when entering room

The location was close to where my daughter was having surgery.

Charged for parking. Bathroom door wouldn't close, whirlpool was cold, some staff was rude.

Hotel staff is ghetto and rude. Breakfast was really bad. Hotel was not clean. It was a terrible trip.

Some of the staff were really nice.?one was very rude and acted as if she was doing me a favor. Too much noise from two major highways.

I checked in and found that the carpet in the room was soggy wet not damp. They couldn¿t get me another room. The noise from the two major highway was deafening. Could not sleep a wink. The chemical from the carpet cleaner was so strong that it irritated

room not ready upon arrival, no rod in closet to hang clothes, no bulb in entry light, incorrect fitted sheet on bed. Overall, well below the standards we expect and usually get from Hampton.

Friendly staff and nice location. Simple and easy check-in / check-out process.

Beds were uncomfortable - indentation.

Location to the area we were visiting

I put the dirty towels outside of the room when we left and they picked them up but did not leave clean towels.I had to go to the front desk and get towels.I asked the clerk to have them leave clean towels but they never did. Other than that it was fine.
