Hampton Inn Detroit/Utica-Shelby Township

We come to Michigan every October and stay at this hotel and rent 2 rooms so our family can be together in the pool and hot tub. Not only was the hot tub closed, but the pool was too cold for the kids to swim. M&M that cost $1.49 were $5.

Love this hotel

Sad they're trying to take the hot tub away. Means we'll have to find another hotel to go and visit quite frequently two times a week for family fun.

Handicap room actually had walk-in shower with bench. Toilet was high and had grab bars that were convient

Had a terrible bed, very springy. The lights were extremely dim and it looked dingy.

Was disappointed . Room not worth the price. We had a hot tub room, which was a standard size hotel room with a hot tub in corner. tile backsplash was coming apart. There was an upholstered chair with stains all over it. furniture outdated and chipped.

Overall was great, but needed a bit of extra time and was denied a late check out. I understand, but it would have made our multi family gathering a bit less stressful as we were trying to coordinate departures.

Convenient location, good amenities (breakfast, wi-fi), good value for rate

Parking was sparse and inconvenient due primarily to lot repair work.

It was ok.

The room that I was in had a dirty hand towel folded and with the other clean towels. I was not happy about that especially since the room had the door sealed as if everything was cleaned thoroughly. It wasn¿t.

Room size and price pool and hot tub

The beds were hard. I think they should allow atleast 12 people in the pool we booked room to just swim and we could only swim 1 hour afternoon 1 hour in morning when u have kids 1 hour isn't enough

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was so nice and pleasant to talk to.

The neighbors were quite loud but that¿s not the hotels fault.

The room was nice but controlling the temp was an issue. The room was hot despite having the air on.

Had to move after the first night because the sink did not drain.

Nothing...it was underwhelming.

The bathroom was not cleaned well...No breakfast was provided because of Covid. We were told that there would be "to-go" bags for breakfast but there was nothing available in the morning.

ALWAYS saw someone cleaning something. Staff ALWAYS welcomed me back when gone and said something nice when I was going out for day.

Reasonably priced, decent location and clean room.

Extremely clean and well-appointed.Rooms felt like a notch above typical hotels of this level.Service was outstanding from the front desk to the breakfast attendants.Highly recommended, although it is a little difficult to find.
