Staybridge Suites - Southgate - Detroit Area By IHG

This is the Best hotel I’ve stayed in over the last 10 years ! My room felt like a large luxury suite that had an Awesome layout and was very clean.

No, I will book this hotel every time I’m in the area !!

The Rooms were spacious, good breakfast, free laundromat in-house, excellent pool and Jaccuzi. A great ambience seating in the backyard.

Housekeeping was a little slow and you need to throw out your trash before leaving

24 hr gym, great location, rooms were a nice size and very clean

Pool limitations: 15 ppl at a time and guests have to turn in photo ID for entrance key. Wish pool was open 24 hr for adults only.

Brand new

My room was not fully cleaned as there were men underwear left next to the couch from the last guest.

Small bathroom

Clean, good location and nice staff

Small bathroom

Super clean! Staff is amazing and very friendly. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be my go to home away from home when visiting family

The pillows. Literally the only thing

It is very clean, breakfast was good, enjoyed having a bit of an evening snack on some days of the week, it is easy to get on and off the highway, plenty of places to eat and shop around.

There needs to be a door to the bathroom sink area, and more than 1 mirror. Hard for 2 people to get ready. Housekeeping comes once a week. We were given 1 extra roll of toilet paper for a week and 2 towels. We had to keep going to desk for more supplies.

Room and pool

The late night stuff was rude

Wonderful experience, and exceeded our expectations! Breakfast was a wonderful, full breakfast with rotating options. Staff was very attentive to keeping things replenished. This was the absolutely QUIETEST hotel we have ever stayed at!

Just a suggestion to perhaps add a full length mirror. With only 1 mirror over a single sink, it would be nice to have another mirror to make it easier for 2 people to get dressed, blow dry hair, apply makeup, etc. But we made it work!

The front desk clerk that checked me in was "extremely" Professional.

Manager-  was "EXTREMELY - RUDE" & unprofessional. She " knew" the TV in the bedroom of the suite were in (bedroom) hadn't worked since the guess broke it. Yet, she made me wait 1hour30 minutes & 4 calls to front desk, with NEGATIVE results,SAD,ma

Just about everything.

I didn't like that someone (a guest most likely) was smoking marijuana to the point that you could smell it in the hallway.

I love the fact that the rooms and the whole facility was updated and clean. I actually felt like I was at a staycation away from home this time. So glad that I chose this hotel for my stay.

I actually have no complaints

Room was clean and staff was kind.

The cleanliness and the beautiful outdoor space.

Nice, accommodating staff.

Fully appointed has every amenity you need. Could live there like an apartment.

It is expensive

Our room was spacious, clean & comfortable. The staff was wonderful!

The hotel was in a good location and our room was very clean. but the elevator floors needed to be cleaned and my husband and I avoided the complimentary breakfast because there was a fruit fly infestation. Clearly it didn't bother the other people staying, but we definitely had no desire to eat food in an area where you chance fruit flies getting into your food and drink. There is a very simple and safe fix for fruit flies. You just need apple cider vinegar and a little bit of dawn.

The elevator floors needed to be cleaned, and my husband and I avoided the complimentary breakfast because there was a fruit fly infestation. The amount of fruit flies in the food and beverage area was really disgusting. I am not sure how the people working there didn't feel a need to address the issue. There is a very safe and simple fix to a fruit fly infestation. You just need a small container with apple cider vinegar and a little bit of dawn dish soap.

Enjoyed the fresh fruit, coffee was good, plenty of breakfast choices
