    Cons -

    • They need a clock in the room
    • Yes, please use real cream or half and half with the delicious Nespresso and make one half of the sitting area a high end breakfast buffet in the morning for an upscale experience.
    • Had an issue with cooling in the room.. ?the staff did everything we asked to make amends.

The staff is very personable and attentive. We loved the lobby with the sitting area and fireplace. Our room was small, but lovely and very clean. The hotel has been updated and looks great! The public restrooms are very impressive. Great location!!

Location. Great views of the river from all the restaurants.

We were in the historic section. Room was nice but zero noise insulation; heard every foot step and walking by the rooms you could hear every conversation.

The Location and history was my main reason for the stay. The hotel edfinetly supplied boyh.

We had a cold room that we could not warm up. At the check in we were told that they were working on the Heating/Air Condit ioning system. So I guess we were warned

Staff was very welcoming and informative to this beautiful hotel. It is beautifully decorated and we were so comfortable in our King Room. Will definitely be staying here the next opportunity & will have to try out the hot ton next time!

Construction is still going on which created a lot of noice - no issue though.

Pool not available due to cold weather, next person was told because of maintenance. Pool was just the same old broken down pool prior to renovations.Did not match pool in the picture

Staff was very helpful, getting us around the hotel, doing what it took, and agreeing with our safety concerns, for the hotel, saying they would bring it to management's attention

The hotel is an accident waiting to happen, steep ramps in the hallways, with no handrails, is a real hazard, The newly refurbished shower had no grab bar or rail, a problem for any age. Under room amenities, the description says terrasse or balcony, no

    Lobby decor was interesting

Room small, no refrigerator, room and hotel did not seem finished. Restaurant food was below expectations and very expensive for what you get. My food was cold, bland, and took an extremely long time to get.

air conditioning was on about 65°, we froze whole time. They couldn't fix it,so we were offered extra blankets. Upstairs they had no AC. We had a handicapped individual with us& had to get assistance from front desk everytime we wanted to use the elevato

    Location on Lake Clair

Very difficult for handicapped people. Accessibility to dining room was difficult.

Breakfast pastries and fruit were perfect. Loved the charming wallpaper in room. Obviously the pool right on the shoreline was exceptionally enjoyable and much needed with 90 degree weather. Dinner at your restaurant was delish. Staff was cordial.

Unfortunately the lack of an elevator was actually a hardship for us. We will need a first floor room if we stay with you again. Thank you for seeking guest input. Sadly, high heat kept us from outdoor strolls at your coastal location.

I very much appreciated the free breakfast, and liked the pastries & oj, I loved the view, I loved the hotel grounds, I took walks on the hotel grounds and down the street at the mini downtown, I liked the mini downtown.

Altho i liked the free breakfast i would've preferred everything to be covered up, not open. I had to talk to my phone service to get reception in my room, couldn't always use my phone, internet etc. I heard someone snoring in the next room overnight, but that was bearable.

Lovely breakfast- delicious coffee. Very old world setting with lots of charm.
