Hampton Inn Kalamazoo

I did not really encounter staff members outside of checking in and out. It was perfect for the purpose we needed it. I would stay again.

Our rooms are normally larger than what we had but it worked perfectly for the night we needed it.

The carpet in hallway was stained and just filthy. The dining room was dirty., garbage cans running over. Poor breakfast selection

Convenience

There was no room service for three days even when we requested it on day 2 and were told the room would be cleaned on day 3. ?Hotel employee? was snarky when I asked why the room wasn?t cleaned the first day. His response, ?we clean every other day.?

Ice machine was out on floor 2. The business center closed. No coffee left on Sunday morning. The cookie tray was empty entire time. Lots of dogs that woke you up barking. Carpet was bunched in the hallway.

Warm pool. Welcoming and accommodating staff. Large comfortable lobby.

Very uncomfortable beds. Old inner spring beds. The Queen Suite had very odd sliding door that didn¿t close off the bathroom completely. Housekeeping needs to be improved.

Very clean. Not too many people around, not to busy. Was a plus.

No microwave, it said kitchen and only had small refrigerator. The curtain would not close all the way for more darkness at night for sleeping. The lights from outside shined into our room.

The room was very clean, the breakfast, and was close to airport and the restaurant¿s.

The lady in the front desk age was not nice. She got a attitude.

Good location. Day shift front desk staff were super friendly¿night shift needs to smile more.

I travel for work and this was the dirtiest Hampton and Hotel that I have stayed at. The hotel needs updating. Housekeeping banging cleaning equipment outside of my room in the morning. I was disappointed in my experience here

The rooms were clean, the pool area was clean and there was lots of parking.

The front desk gave keys and access to both of my rooms before I arrived and verified the occupants. No ID given or asked for. Staff had family members (6), not staying at the hotel, eating the breakfast provided and emptying all stations of food. Shame

Horrible. Dirty everywhere. Desk clerk video chatting with tweaking girlfriend. Run down. Checked out after 30 minutes. Stay far away from this property .

the swimming pool was very cold.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a group of 8 using 5 rooms attending a funeral. Loved that there was plenty of space with chairs on the main floor to occasionally meet up. Beds were comfortable. Excellent location right next to the airport.

Clean Room with nice shower. Nice Box to go breakfast.

Room layout, bed is not facing TV, but sofa is. No tea in room.

Stayed here 4/16/21. Solid hotel. Well lit parking. Lobby was clean. Guy at the desk was great, and the room was exactly what it should be. Bathroom was clean and stocked. Nice tv. Comfy bed. Will definitely stay again next time in town.

No hot breakfast.

Good location, front desk person was very pleasant and helpful. COVID restrictions put slight damper on the experience, but that is to be expected. Common areas were clean and in good shape.

While bathroom was clean, the caulking on bottom of shower was stained with mold. The toilet was unusually low, which was weird and almost seemed like it was for a child. Never experienced that before. Sink faucet blocks sink.

Beautiful, new hotel. The breakfast area was gorgeous and large. The buffet was fabulous!

I wish our room was a little larger.
