Hampton Inn Marquette/Waterfront

The front desk staff!! Very friendly and very willing to help!

My request was for a room that had no animals previous to us. The staff did their best, but he had trouble breathing at night. It would be wonderful if you had designated pet free rooms available! It used to be that way.

The views, free breakfast and staff.

The rooms were a tad outdated.

Waterfront location was great. Nice eating breakfast on the patio looking at Lake Superior. Free downtown parking at the hotel also made it convenient to walk around to restaurants and shops. Staff overall friendly and hotel generally clean.

Stayed 3 nights, but never cleaned room despite sign saying rooms cleaned every other day. Went to desk and ask for additional garbage bags, towels - staff at desk apologized but didn't offer anything to make it right. At $--- a night I expect better.

The view of Lake Superior was amazing. The kids enjoyed the salt water pool--and sneaking a dip in Superior. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great. I enjoyed my cup of coffee on the outdoor patio while watching the row club in the harbor.

Love this location and hotel, will be back next year!

Too many rooms with similar names, it was slightly confusing. We thought we were booking a king bedroom suite and it turned into a king studio suite. We wanted the room wall and got open concept.

Location on the bay is outstanding. Our suite had sunrise views and was first rate in terms of furniture and cleanliness. Location was excellent for walking and staff was helpful. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

There was construction right outside the window and it started early so it was noisy.

The hotel was clean, pool area was large, hot tub was very warm and deep.

Hot tub was not working on last day of trip.

Friendly staff

The lake view is currently just a view of bulldozers and construction. Paying for the lake rooms is meaningless.

The hotel has a saltwater pool which we were looking forward to using. The pool bottom and walls were discolored and the water was very cool. The hot tub appeared to be clean but the temperature was Luke warm.

At the time, too much construction going on around the hotel.

Stayed an extra day but went thru hotel because I wanted same room. The desk clerk was super duper kind and the whole staff was great

Construction of parking deck for apartments next door takes up lots of spaces so parking was tough at times

I liked the waterfront view best. The hotel was clean and comfy, if it wasn¿t so nice the waterfront view wouldn¿t have mattered. It felt very high quality.

The pool was very cold

Everything was great! In fact, both my husband and I slept so well I would like to know what brand and style bed you have, please1

The only thing that was bothersome about this stay was that we did not get a hot breakfast. Other hotels have gone back to the hot breakfasts, and this one should too!

Hotel staff was SO kind. Always cleaning, always welcoming and willing to help. Room was clean too, and took great covid precautions. Location was a plus. Easy places to find to eat or drink that were walkable.
