The location and beach

We booked a 3 bedroom cabin but it was absolutely filthy. After an hour they finally switched us to 2 single rooms on the beach. Those rooms were cleaner but we still had to scrub out the shower to use it and there were dirty dishes in the sink.new owner

Filthy and smelly. Outrageous holiday scalping on price but would have been ok if basically clean. Health department would probably be concerned

the location was perfect! we went up for a wedding and stayed the weekend, our room was great. lakeview and was willing to pay for the view.

We were accidently given 3 rooms for 3 nights instead of 1 room for 3 nights. I contacted the property owner right away before we arrived. He understood and told me he would cancel the other 2 reservations. I didn't think anything more of it. until I received the bill for 3 rooms. I've since been in contact with Both the property owner as well as Booking.com to which they both say it's the others' fault for not processing my refund. it's been nearly 2 months since the initial connection and Im no closer to the resolution then when I started. Please Help

the Hot water took a long time to get to the room. the first night, I didn't get a shower. being after the Labor Day weekend, I thought maybe it was off, but they did get it!!

Beautiful View just like we were looking for! Loved our time there. We came up for a wedding and really enjoyed the location,view and the freedom to come and go that we don't get when we stay with relatives !

Took a long time to get the water hot, couldn't get the TV to work or gas fire place

Location on the beach was really nice . Had three bedroom cottages for our family reunion . Fire pits on the beach. Practically had the place to ourselves .

Not a single soul there when we went to check in and pretty much the whole time . We had to call a number and the man told us to grab our keys out of the office . 28 units and besides our party two other units had people at some point . Went to make coffee and there was a moldy filter with fuzzy coffee ?. Water for shower smelled like pure iron . Furniture was older than me (I’m 56) and smelled. Rec room was trashed. Poop table and sticks broken . Everything broken actually . I’m not sure who even owns or runs the place .

Location was great. The beach is awesome! Room was clean and had everything we needed.

Room was pretty dated and decor was unusual.

The location was the only good thing about this cabin.

I have had stayed at several smaller older cabins in this area. This one was by far the worst I have ever stayed we left early from our stay because I just couldn’t stand staying any longer. We completely cut our trip short by two days because of the state of this cabin. It was dirty, the bathroom, furniture, shower, sink, bed everything was dirty and barely livable.

Location was amazing. Clean room and when asked if we cold have a room in the st floor we were accommodated.

Very cold air conditioner .. we actually unplugged it. And no coffee in the room.

The location of the 3 bedroom 1 bath house was right in the beach. Beautiful sunrise and sunset.They were very pleasant in the phone and accommodating on other family members arriving before I did

Only a couple pumps of soap in dispensers, no paper towels and the broom was unfortunately not the best for the amount of sand that is going to end up in the house.

Great view. Clean room.

The recreation room could use rehab. Would like to have seen a ice machine or small store.

I got the okay to have an early check in at 2 pm then arrived and told the owner was not there and would be back in an hour and check in time is at 4pm. I explained that I had a early check in. I left with my family and returned in an hour and the owner (i guess the only one that could check me in) still was not there. I was told a staff member was on her way and it would be 15 minutes. At 4pm still no one was there to check us in, I did send an email to Paul (who approved and early check in) and never received a response. Some time after 4 maybe 4:20pm someone pulled up to where I was told the owner parked and told me that someone should be able to check me in. Apparently at some point a worker went in but I didn't know and the worker who had been giving me information did not say anything to me about going in and checking in. It was a 4 hour drive if I had known that we were not going to be able to check in early I would have adjusted my travel time. Once I got my key, it didn't open the door and I had to go back down to the office to get a different key. The check in process was horrible, clearly there is a lack of communication with the staff about early check ins and checking anyone in at all. Why only one person can check people in is crazy to me. The fact that Paul never answered the my email about the whole check in process just makes me feel like they do not care. The room was nice, stairs look to need work. We had a broken swing on the porch, seems like they should have removed that, it took up space we could have used. The great lake is beautiful but that has nothing to do with the resort. I will not be back to this resort. I stayed somewhere else last year which was not as nice as far as a room but communication and follow through were much better at the other place.

The view of the beach and water is perfection. We stayed 1 night and it was great. The kitchen aspect of our little 1 room lacked cooking resources but we didn’t plan on cooking. It’s worth the location and the beach was quiet and pretty private.

Perfect for an overnight or weekend but it’s be hard to stay longer with limited kitchen resources

It needed some rehab, especially the bathroom. A good scrubbing everywhere wouldn't go amiss. The furniture should be tossed out to the curb. It was worn , ripped, and dirty.

Location to the beach and town for necessary items like groceries. Playgrounds for the kids.

Poorly maintained,needs serious updating. The community, game, building was horrible. Looks abandoned, unusable.

Stayed in one of the rooms vs the cabins. Very clean with some updates. Bed was extremely comfortable and I got a great nights sleep. Two steps out the door was the beach. Absolutely loved the location! Owner was very nice and informative. Fire pits on the beach with wood for sale. But grab one early as other guests gobbled them up quickly.

Could use some updated furnishings.

Very Dirty, stained sheets, toilet backed up, didn’t get the cabin I requested months ago. Never got a reply texting and calling the number listed on booking.com
