The Fireside Inn Portland has all non-smoking rooms, free wifi, HBO, coffee Keurig machines with pods, 42 inch or large TV's, private baths. We have an outdoor seasonal pool, indoor pool open year round open 8am till 10pm. We offer a grab and go breakfast, usually egg sandwich's on buttermilk bisquets or English muffins along with granola bars and assorted pastries.

- The staff was excellent
- Nothing. Not a single positive attribute.
- The most friendly staff/hosts NC breakfast
Cons -
- Hotel hallways smelled musty. The rooms were outdated, the bathrooms had hair & sink was slow. In 1099. Was not a three star at all. Less than 2 stars. It was not clean. For almost --- a night, should have been ---. We can't believe it's chain.
- Bathroom was unclean. Staff was apathetic. Beds were worn out and sagging. Overall out-of-date and dingy. Nothing positive about our experience at all. Everything else was so dirty, we didn't even want to drink the coffee available.
- The entire hotel is "DATED"
