- The staff was incredibly friendly and funny! Had an amazing breakfast sandwich. We are planning on booking again.
- Service and the Lobster dinners were amazing.
- Continental breakfast each morning was incredibly delicious! The owner Evelyn is an incredible baker, listening to her recommendations/stories of her experience living and growing up in the area made the trip special. As a first time Acadia visitor I felt extremely lucky the inn was 5 mins from all of the iconic trails we planned to hit! The inn is also very close to downtown bar harbor! We couldn’t be happier, same with our big dog we brought with us!!!
Cons -
- The beds were not very comfortable and the lack of AC made the night a bit rough. They did have a couple fans in the room that helped.
- Nothing at all! The market wasn’t open but we need to come back to try the lobster rolls!
- Absolutely nothing! It was perfect!

It was so quaint and homey! Nice outdoor seating. Wonderful breakfast. Awesome host!

Close to a park entrance, away from Bar Harbor
On road and truck and cycles were LOUD. more like a motel than inn or B&B. breakfast was kinda simple, and room small with very limited seating.
Very cleanStaff was excellentEnjoyed breakfast and opportunity to talk with other guests and owner
The mattresses could be updated. We stayed, during fall, for one night and in a middle room where a floor fan and heater were provided and we were comfortable. Cant imagine staying in the heat of summer though.
Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park without the big price tag. Dawn allowed us to check-in a little bit early, it didn't take us as long to get there from Belfast as we thought. The country store had everything you needed! The room was clean and quaint! We had a great stay!
Very friendly staff and located beautifully. It was possible to flag down the free buses on the island right at the inn or after a short, nice walk to see shore.
No Otters ?
The breakfast was clearly just grocery store quality. Coffee food. Did not feel effort made to make guests feel welcome. Accidentally broke plate and was sent email. You
Having the hostess complain about tourists was off-putting to say the least.
Excellent location for our hiking goals. Able to hike from our room several days. Nice to not deal with the traffic and overwhelming peoe in Bar Harbor.
Quiet location and very nice morning breakfast!
Very warm summer day and no air conditioning!
There was nothing good about this place, besides its location.
The mold, the doors that didn't close, the broken bed, the paper thin walls, and the staff/owner who was groaning passive aggressive things while I left. We didn't stay the second night because of how horrible this place is.
Breakfast lady was very nice.
No heat, bed was uncomfortable, very dark, dated room.
What breakfast no one was ever there. No checkin staff no manager. No one to answer questions.
No one at market as note on door said Very disappointing
Location was great. Away from the crazy of Bar Harbor and easy to drive to and from in Acadia.
Showers are tiny and made it difficult to use.
Beautiful establishment right outside of Bar Harbor with simple, but sufficient amenities. Autonomous check in was appreciated. Breakfast was above expectations in the store which offered a lovely experience.
Nothing really, but if we have to say something, the bed was very soft and maybe a little dated so for my boyfriend who has a bigger stature, it was not really comfortable.
very nice place with great food and friendly owners.
The manager is very warm and welcoming. Allowed us to check in even though we arrived earlier. The rooms seemed to be in a pretty clean state. Inclusion of breakfast with our stay came as a pleasant surprise as it was not mentioned in the website during booking and the breakfast was indeed wholesome. We stayed in one of the cabins, it is small but equipped with a complete kitchen and outdoor grill. We like to location by the main road but not at all noisy
We didn’t like the bathroom that has a shutter not a proper door. It was kind of gross to use the toilet due to lack of a proper door. Also the 2nd sleeping provision is a sofa that opens up to a bed. The mattress immediately gives away to any weight, can you imagine sleeping without support? Yes, that bad it is.
location! I liked the small town vibe. I could walk from my inn and be on a trail. I had my dog with me and they were wet welcoming
Lovely setting and clean, pretty room, though small, was quite comfortable. The setting was excellent. Quiet, lots of outdoor sitting and eating spaces. Excellent breakfast and wonderful host who was charming and helpful. A very good vacation experience.
Room was a little smaller than we expected but it was offset by the lovely outdoor spaces. It might feel different if the weather had prohibited us from using the outdoor space.
