The Inn on Mount Desert

The breakfast was amazing . Also the cookies during the day. Overall great experience. Easy walk to town. Staff was wonderful.

A few things to consider. Since the major of people park on first floor. Need better signage and more welcoming feel. The garage on that level is out of hand . Need more clean up and maybe a better enclosure to make it look better. Ok

We loved the nautical theme, the breakfast each morning, and how close it was to everything!

Location is excellent, walkable to city center and waterfront. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is so charming. Would definitely purely recommend to anyone and will be back, for sure!

We loved this hotel! The staff was super friendly and the room was adorable and clean. Great location, super close to Acadia. The breakfast in the morning was one of the best hotel breakfasts I¿ve had. Would absolutely stay here again.

The location's proximity to the main area of Bar Harbor. Everything is within walking distance.

The coffee was terrible and not maintained as there was no regular coffee as the container was empty, not having cold half & half cream, and no coffee sleeves available to hold the hot cups.

Loved the billiards room and breakfast. Great location.

The bed was so comfy I didn't want to climb out of it. Wonderfully hot shower. Really nice breakfast. Super friendly staff.

The game room with vending machines was locked at 10pm.

The breakfast of French toast & sausage was barely warm. I was given another breakfast of the same and it was also warm, not hot.

The receptionist, was exceptional. I so enjoyed her enthusiasm. She goes above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was wonderful. Location was so convenient.

This place was a real steal for a peaceful, off-season stay in Bar Harbor. The room had a nice 4th floor view; the bed was comfortable, andthough Bar Harbor is more of a summer spot, the room had cozy reading chairs by the heater and extra blankets ready

The hotel was cute and updated. We weren¿t there long enough to take advantage of the amenities (like the bocce ball, pool table, or rocking chairs on the cute front porch) but it offered some nice options. It was in a great location to downtown.

The bed was too soft and lumpy for our tastes. Once you fell into a divot, you were kind of stuck there for the night. Other than that, the hotel was great.

I've never wanted to take a bar soap from a hotel until staying here! Love that they stocked local product. Spacious room, decent breakfast.

My only real complaint is that we were awakened by breakfast preparations a bit before 6 am. If possible to limit the noise/use a sound screen that would be great. We were in the room closest to the dining area.

Absolutely fell in love with this charming inn! Everything was super clean and brand new and staff were so friendly! After a day of hiking we would play board games by the fire. Breakfast was homemade! Will be staying here again when we return!

This Inn has very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The entry hall and lounge are neet and nicely decorated with corner for children.

Their breakfast menu would benefit if there will be gluten and lactose free options.

The location of the Mount Desert Street Motel is fabulous! You can walk anywhere downtown easily and you can access Acadia National Park by car in just a few minutes. It was very quiet and peaceful - a great value considering the great location.

It was exactly what we needed. Clean, two beds, and a fridge. The location was walking distance to most attractions, with ample parking.
