Island Inn & Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel

It was exactly like the pics showed, right on the water. The pier was perfect and open all night. Great for fishing and crabbing.

No it was a perfect getaway.

The water

The lady this one time at the desk was so so rude and unprofessional. The privacy shade was broke in the room and the room was in the front with no blinds to cover anything. The hotel refused me of my refund and would not move my room $--- down the drain

My tv only had 4 channels that worked and they were fuzzy didn?t got a room only be able to watch tv

Location, water on both side.

They allow non-guest to fish on the premises, they?re noisy and leave a mess.

The furniture on balcony was broken

Beautiful water views; you just cant beat the sunrise and sunset. Room was large and bed was .comfortable

Slightly worn around the edges; older carpets, a little dirty Breakfast foods were mostly boxed and bagged, no fresh fruit or hot choices Staff seemed a little overworked

Great location - nice room - comfortable beds - bathroom fine - good breakfast

Walls paper thin - could hear the neighbors talking , snoring , neighbor fell asleep with the tv blaring loud and hotel manager could do nothing about it - so we all had a broken night Despite all thats good about the hotel I would not go back there

Staff, location and restaurant was fabulous. Pretty and large room.

Needs more pillows - like in the closet they were very small. Shutters broken. Fridge was "warm" not cold.

The hotel's location is good, plus the rooms face the rivers on both sides, so you either get an incredible sunrise or sunset view from your balcony. Also, there is free parking, a nice breakfast included, and a restaurant next door with a river view.

Our room's deadbolt did not work and was not fixed during our stay. Also, some of the furniture could use an upgrade as it looks a bit worn, but otherwise we love staying there.

The location adjacent to two separate bodies of water with balconies for all rooms

The vending machines are outdated and don¿t accept credit and debit cards. Only accept paper bills or coins. Very inconvenient.

Beautiful location

Our room needed lots of maintenance. Walls with many scuffs and dings, sliding door did not lock, and lock on door to the room had duct tape around it. A friend's room was much better than ours so maybe they are in the process of making repairs.

The View

Furniture could be upgraded and rooms can be more cleaner, even though I always bring my own sheet, pillowcase and comforter and definatly spray everything completely down.

Right on water, great porch, great views. Restaurant right next door

Sheets were stained. Lots of rowdy kids in parking lot and running through halls ruined the relaxing vibe

The location and staff were amazing

Cleanliness left a bit to be desired, the kitchenette area had not been wiped down from previous use (food splattered in microwave, crumbs in the drawer and something on the cabinet door), stain on the bottom sheet covering the mattress

Quite location and nice staff

We had little ants in our bathroom. Our balcony flooring was warped and broken. Wi-Fi was shorty. The faucets and lamps were old and dirty. Our white shower curtain had permanent brown marks.

This place is beautiful and super clean! The staff is super nice and I will be coming back

The only con I have is there not being a 24 hour kitchen and no close food options around but that¿s okay. There¿s a wonderful restaurant open for a few hours a couple days a week and their food is amazing.

Old musty room, had no screen door which allowed 1000's of flies in. Front desk told me my room didn't have one because owner was testing screen doors on rooms. All other rooms had them. Rooms were dirty, plantation shutters were no longer on tracks.

I did not like anything but the sunset when we finally decided to leave and stay somewhere else.

location, location,location

The employees WERE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL . THEY DID NOT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT THE HOTEL. SUCH A LOVEY PLACE. THEY HAD ONE TRASH CAN OUT SIDE. IT WAS NEVER EMPTED THE ENTIRE 4 DAYS THAT I WAS THERE. THE BALCONY HAD SPIDERS AND WRASP NEST. JUST A LITTLE TLC

The water view

Cleanliness in rooms towels had stains,holes in ceiling, balcony had major spiderwebs & alot of spiders we couldn't enjoy the balcony. Nice hotel but definitely can use few upgrades.

The location, the suite, the views, staff friendly

Not much, we had a new mattress inside the sleep sofa. Nice compared to last time we came.
