Tidewater is one of the nicest - enjoyable hotels and location we've stayed at over 20 years.
Location and staff.
The location and food were excellent!

Cons -

no
Poor temperature control in room. Poor noise insulation (can hear eveything).
The room was a total dump. No AC, crammed, tiny bathroom with no shelf space. Staff was very nice and gave us complimentary breakfast and apologized. ONLY stay in one of their refurbished rooms!

Location very convenient. Onsite restaurant, Hunters, was quite good. Staff in both the restaurant and at the front desk is very cheerful and helpful.

The thin walls meant that there was a fair amount of noise, and the plumbing was not very op-to-date
