Holiday Inn Express Baltimore West - Catonsville By IHG

Location of the hotel near eateries and mall. The ability to stay in the same room if we decided to extend our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The presentation of the room was spacious, welcoming and very clean. Staff was always very helpful and courteous.

I just love the location you can find anything your looking for around there the only thing missing is an amusement park.

So it just took some getting used to but there wasnt carpet on the floor but no biggie.

Poor service rude staff

Never change trash or linen when complained they ask us to leave and wouldn’t rent to us again

Pest control problem

They didn’t bring us clean linens nor empty the trash on a daily basis

Maintaining & housekeeping staff was not available after 5ive noticed this at this holiday inn & Nassau Bahamas holiday inn...

Bright light shined through window all night couldn't sleep. No Shade at window and drapes wouldn't close. Charged a deposit thats suppose to return to card when i checkout still on card even though I checked out days ago.

The location is nice.

The room i was giving had a nasty smell to it. The carpet left a weird oily film on my feet. The carpet was ripped in several places.

The room had clearly been treated for bed-bugs. Everything was unplugged, including the fire alarm. The carpet hadn't been vacuumed. Most likely won't stay here again.

Breakfast

Shower,room smelled like cigarettes, and the tv remote didn't work.bed smelled,and towels had human hair on them.

"Thank you for your generous hospitality. I loved the royal treatment while staying with you."

Only thing that was a concern is in room 413 the shower continues to drip at all times. I mention at the front desk.

Maintenance should check the bathrooms more often for leaks in sinks, showers and toilets. Maybe housekeeping should look around better and notify maintenance that there is a problem.

All Dove bath products

Beds are very uncomfortable, my husband and I woke up with back pain every morning. Breakfast needs improvement, biscuits were overcooked and hard as a rock, potatoes were dry and unseasoned. Staff is not friendly.

BED MATRESS HARD AND NOT VERY THICK BATHROOMS NEED REFINISHING ALL THEY SEEM TO WORRY ABOUT IS SMOKING IAM NOT A SMOKER BUT IT TAKES A LAWYER TO READ SMOKING FINES

Rooms a bit old & worn down. Bathtub didn?t hold water & needed to be re-caulked A little dusty

I mostly gave a 1 because I could give a zero. The staff is absolutely terrible. The area is ok for what it is but the people hanging out/loitering pan handlers and more were as terrible as the staff.

It?s a nice hotel and close to our event

The room was not up to par or as clean as it has been in the past.

THE STAFF IS WONDERFUL. EVERYONE KEEPS A SMILE ON THEIR FACE AND WILLING TO HELP.

MY ROOM WAS 405- UPON ENTERING THE ROOM EVERYTHING LOOKED GOOD. BUT AS I WENT TO PLACE MY FRUIT IN THE FRIDGE, THERE I FOUND OPEN GATOR ADE, WATER, AND A YOGURT. THEN IN THE CLOSET IF FOUND A OPEN BAG OF CAT FOOD WHICH I TOOK TO THE FRONT DESK.
