Heritage House Inn on Cape Cod, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Newly painted, new floors (no carpet), new bathroom, all fresh and clean! Nice hot and cold breakfast and two pools in Comfort Inn across the parking lot. On side street, off Main St/Rte 28.

Maybe so newly done that there was not a closet pole (yet) or towel racks for hanging towels (cute towel “cage” with plenty of fresh towels and washcloths :)

The rooms appeared clean although the sheets had a smell of not enough washing.

The hotel did not have signs to tell me it was connected to the Comfort Inn so we spent time trying to find it. There is nothing that tells you what the wifi password is, the soaps are almost as thin as credit cards. pervasive moldiness smell.

These basic accommodations were adequate and the cost was affordable compared to other lodging in the area.

It was made clear to us upon check-in that this no-frills hotel is not part of Comfort Inn (which is located on the same property), caters to budget-minded customers and does not offer breakfast or anything other than basic amenities.

Location. Right where the ferry lands. Staff was very friendly.

There always seemed to be groups of people hanging out by the door. They were smoking outside but it's not a good feeling to be coming home at night in the dark with a handful of people outside the door. Towels were really cheap.

Manager wait til the night before arrival to tell you that they short of staff and add what do you expect for this price??? You have to walk to the desk for everything because they dont clean the rooms.A disaster

Good location for walking to shops and restaurants

They are renovating the property and under new ownership so it was a bit rough looking in the hallways and main lobby. Our TV didn’t work. The person we spoke to on the phone at night couldn’t help us with the TV. No pictures on the walls and the lighting in the room was poor.

Convince

The man that answers the call of the property is not friendly and or understanding. I wanted to change my reservation dates and the tone of his voice made me just drop the phone.Checking in, I checked in at comfort in. The lady there was really friendly. Perfect person for reception.Heritage house, the carpet by the entrance is pretty filthy from the last time I was there I think il go back to either booking comfort inn or another property.I didn’t investigate much of the room but noticed a dirty shower.

It was very clean, but a little hard to find, as it was behind another hotel. It was walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the pier, which was great. We didn't need to worry about parking.

The breakfast was not real great (very limited) and we had to go out to another building to get to it. It would have been nice to at least have a coffee cart in our own building so you didn't need to trek outside in the weather. It was raining for our first two days.

Cleanness, quietness and relax

The breakfast, quality of food and timing of cafeteria closures. It closes too early I wish it could’ve stayed a bit longer.
