Winstead Beach Resort

Large room. Great location. Beautiful private beach with views.

Stale damp odor. Musty odor throughout the hotel. Had to sleep with windows open. Some people might not mind but my wife certainly did."Breakfast" was quite disappointing. Tiny TVs. Uncomfortable mattresses. No front desk staff coverage most of the time.

The resort location was spectacular. The breakfast was very, very good. There were the basic continental food items, but then we were served delicious quiches. It was lovely to sit out on the porch and sip our coffee. We were able to walk to a lovely restaurant and into town.

The rooms, while clean and comfortable could use a little updating. I suppose the wood paneling on the walls is part of the rustic decor, but was not to my liking. The parking is very tight, but everyone was cooperative and there were no issues.

Bed wasn’t that comfortable

Beautifully located right on the beach! Clean facilities and kind staff. Rooms were comfortable and spacious.

Convenient location for conference in nearby Chatham. Beachfront location. Clean rooms with helpful staff and amenities as described. On-site parking.

We stayed at the beach house and the check-in process at a different building across town made check-in process a bit less convenient than expected prior to booking. Ultimately worked out fine though.

Everything. It was clean, beautiful, great location, breakfast was simple but delicious and the coffee was sooo good. The staff was so accommodating and sweet.

Rooms slightly dated at beach resort, but still very nice!

We were on Cape for a wedding/ location was perfect/ staff very accommodating! Room cozy clean and very comfy with ocean viewI would stay again?

Perfect location on the beach, lovely terrace area. Bars & restaurants only a 5 minute walk away. Excellent continental breakfast Comfortable rooms

It was all good

The breakfast was very nice. Location was very good, right on the water and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Great outdoor sitting area with water view. The shower is fabulous! Nice quality towels.

The mattress had no support whatsoever. Having to go to other resort to sign in and pick up key, total inconvenience. The room had a musty odor. No sound proofing could hear people in other rooms.

This was the best place I have stayed ! We loved every minute, for the beauty of the facility and beaches to the staff hospitality. They really made you felt welcome, relaxed and comfortable.

Breakfast was ok….my problem was the pool was at the “Inn” in town..didnt realize there were two venues..There was no one at the front desk the whole time we were there… any problem …we had a telephone number to call..although they always answered and repaired the problem Antonio was especially helpful. I don’t think we would ever return

It is in a great location right on the beach. The room had a view of the water, and the bathroom was nice and updated. Breakfast had lots of options with delicious fresh fruit.

The directions did not state that we had to go to a second location to check in. We went right to the inn and had to backtrack to the main resort to get the key. That should have been clearer in the confirmation email. The parking lot is very small, so a bit tricky to navigate.

Location is very private and right on the Nantucket Sound. The staff was wonderful and very helpful.

There is nothing not to like at this relaxation destination.

The inn is an older, charming building that was very clean with a very good staff that kept checking if our stay was satisfactory.

Location location location. If you want to have easy access to a private beach, stay here.

Didn’t like the room we stayed in. Bed too small and room should be updated. Too difficult to open gate and parking lot is small and very cramped.
