Water pressure and the soap, shampoo and lotion were not up to what I expect from a Marriott.
Hard floors in the room so you hear people moving on other floors.
There weren't many amenities for the price, complementary breakfast or discounted happy hours at the bar would have been nice.

The water in the shower took a very long time to warm up, even with the lever all the way over. Our room in the past had a seating area with a couch and table. This room only had a chair. It made it feel very small.

We wanted to be close to Boston College and this hotel was the closest 3-4 star hotel. It?s across the street from the green line D and C trains, so very convenient/easy to get to downtown Boston

Great bathroom design. Must have been a different designer from the terrible room design. Bright, spacious and functional.

Room is stylish but stupid design. No light in center of room, only perimeter lighting like UNDER the suitcase bench. Each light has a different hidden switch. Other guests complained about this. Walking between bed and bench is like walking in airplane

Location

At check-in staff said due to our long stay of 5 nights maid service would only be provided twice. We were not serviced twice, only received one cup of coffee. The valet did not give the key fob back to us resulting in a return trip from airport. BAD!

The room is well set up, clean and it is in close proximity to my parents home.

The lighting in the room is meant to be trendy, but it is dark and inefficient. Secondly some idiot set off the smoke alarm in his room at 12:45 in the middle of the night and the entire hotel was cleared out in the middle of a cold night.

Location. Quiet. Modern.

Lack of anything reasonably priced in the sundries shop. Trash receptacles by lobby overflowing. Microwave very dirty. Front desk responsive to request for pillows. Temp control in the room excellent.

Overall quality was what I expected.

The street noise, especially at night. In the morning, I realized that the window was not properly sealed in it's track. I tried to properly close the window, but could not. The window in room 539 needs to be addressed by maintenance staff.

This hotel was great! It was clean and perfectly located.

The only breakfast available was a sit down restaurant that was quite pricey. Also, it was $40 to park which is a bit high for that area.
