I had a wonderful few days at the Riverfront Hotel during the American Heart Association Annual Meeting. The staff was excellent and friendly. The room was spacious and clean.

My only issue was with the coffee maker in my room, which didn't work properly throughout my stay. They told me they would replace it, but they didn't. However, I consider it a minor incident. I would definitely stay there again.

Rooms are large and clean. Very close to the convention center and walking distance to the French Quarter

My room was not at the same level as the elevator, and going up and down a few stairs was needed

The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

There was a slight smell I assume coming from the pipes in the bathroom.

First room had an issue with overpowering cleaning product smell. Apparently there was an accident on the rug.

I had to wait 45 minutes for room. Then smell overpowering. Staff offered to move me in the morning. Was much better room. They were very professional and nice once situation came to their attention due to a very kind housekeeper who saw I had my door propped open.
