Hampton Inn & Suites Marksville

I didn't like that the room was not serviced from our night sleep. Slept in the bed on Friday night, went out from 10 am to 3 pm only to return and find that the beds were not made up ,only the towels in the bathroom had been replaced.

Location to venue.

Fitness room closed, hot tub boarded up, a/c unit in the room is loud.

Clean, very comfortable. Had a large continental breakfast with a good variety. Would definitely stay here again

Some of the staff stayed in groups out in the back parking area talking very loud. This made me feel uncomfortable parking my car there since I?m a female staying alone.

The staff was nice

Property under renovation,several issues-hot water not always available, bathdr wouldn't stay open, bathrm lighting dark, curtains falling down, elevators not always working, computer in business area not working. Hair dryer travel size, prefer full.

Quiet

Breakfast was ok but not great. Expected more from a Hampton Inn. Location might contribute to this.

The hotel is in a good location if you are traveling to Marksville.

We had to change rooms three times. The first room smelled really bad and had mold in the bathroom. The second smelled like heavy smoke and the bathroom was filthy; not mention my son woke up to BED BUGS and bites all over his body. The 3rd room was ok.

Friendliness of the staff Marvelous breakfast We couldn't believe there was red velvet flavored waffles!!

We would go back and take our entire family with us in a heartbeat!

The staff was super friendly and helpful, and everything was nice except there were light bulbs missing from light fixtures in our room, and no extra blanket. I thought the price was a little steep for a small, country town. The breakfast was good.

The entire hotel smelled awful. The room was not clean. I went to the front desk for extra towels and they would only allow 2. I was afraid to leave my children alone even locked in the room even though they are 23 and 16. Worst stay ever!

The toilet did not work properly, if you flushed it , an hour or longer for it to refill to flush again, called the desk to tell them and they had no other room , and no maintenance to come check it, and shower curtain rod was so rusty, nasty!!!!!!

The hotel staff

Kids were running around the hotel all through the night. The elevator smelled like mildew and their we're random stains and trash everywhere.

The room was very clean ans the people were nice.

I didn¿t have a remote at first.

It was clean friendly and safe All the staff was so nice I will return soon

I smoke, so I would prefer to smoke in my room. I wish you offered smoking rooms and suites.

They how lights when I didn¿t

The heater didn¿t get warm room stayed cold. Couldn¿t watch television. There wasn¿t any batteries. I didn¿t know they was serving breakfast.

Most staff were not wearing face masks in this time when they are required When I punted this out to the manager, she showed absolutely no interest in this concern

location and price

Yes, the hotel was very dirty; carpet, walls and floors, furniture in the common areas were all filthy. Paint was scraped off walls, bed was thrown together. Floor was not clean in the room.

Staff was Great. Had a problem with the safe...Less than 15 minutes it was fixed. Clean. Really enjoyed the Shuttle.

No liquid hand soap.

A/C stopped working Saturday evening called front Desk that evening was told nothing could be done until in the morning when maintenance came in. Had to sleep in a warm Room Saturday night checked out the next morning!
