La Quinta Inn by Wyndham New Orleans West Bank / Gretna

The hotel was full of mold, the room was dirty both inside and out. Property not as advertised

Location

The room was not clean, no towels in room. You could tell no one had swept in there for a while. The lot and surrounding areas had trash and used condoms everywhere. Then we left for dinner, got back to grass cut and trash chopped up everywhere.

The staff worked with us to resolve issues. When given 3rd floor room though elevators were broken, they accommodated to move us to the 1st floor. When the room was unsatisfactory, they accommodated a refund. Staff was only good thing about this place.

This is an old, run down motel. Elevator is broken. Rooms are outdated. Room looked like the TV had been stolen (cable cords there, but no TV). Bathroom was gross, my teenager took a picture of it. Smoke alarm was beeping. Smelled like cigarette smoke.

The staff TRIED to help. Sadly, the rooms were just so gross and in such disrepair that the efforts were fruitless!

We looked at several rooms because the first ones were not acceptable, and of the other rooms we looked at, 3 were missing smoke detectors, the ac didn’t work in one, and several of them didn’t have adequate locking mechanisms! Didn’t feel safe at all!

I did not get to check in. They tried to charge me --- dollars for the room when it was already paid for

The staff was very nice and helpful. The location was ok, it was walking distance to shopping, restaurants, fast food.

Roaches, water did not get hot, breakfast had very few selections no fruit insite.

The room door had trouble locking, the sheets on the bed had blood that was not ours on them,the smell was of the room was horrible. I was not able to stay there ended up losing my money we went to another hotel.

The pool

No mic, no refrigerator

The rooms are just as nasty as the hotel staff

The water comes out the sink to low Did not have microwave and the fridge There was only half roll of toilet tissue and I had to go to the office The door lock didn't work with the cards 2x , I went to the office 2 times for this.

Comfortable bed

Curtains ripped allowing anyone to see in. Electricity went out during the night and it was uncomfortable, remained ou for 8.5 hours

Everything! It was awful! Worst place I have ever stayed at. Mood and mildew all over the beds and pillows, extremely dirty, drugs everywhere.

The front desk staff were nice. However, this hotel should be condemned. La Quinta Hotel should be ashamed that this hotel. It is severely understaffed. The grounds are littered with cigarette buds and trash. Rooms are disgusting.

The entire hotel was awful except for the front desk staff. The advertisement pictures are deceptively misleading. The owners should be arrested for how they have let this hotel become rundown. Shame on La Quinta. I will avoid other La Quinta hotels now.

Location

Everything else. It?s very dirty and has trash around the entire property and in the breezeways. The rent a cop there is creepy. The women working at the front desk all have poor attitudes. We left early.

No towels no shower curtain no toilet paper had to ask for everything four days they never cleaned the room

Room service was only made once in a 7 day stay

NOTHING - WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER. Hotel employee was rude at check in & did not aopologize.

Room was messy, holes in curtains, walls & furniture. SOMEONE TRIED TO COME IN OUR ROOM WHILE WE SLEPT. We did not feel safe here at all & left after 4 hours & are still trying to get a refund. GM Kristiana is just as rude & is refusing refund.

The bed was comfortable, friendly staff. I just needed a place to sleep for 6 hours. Price was okay. Hotels that week were outrageous, later found out because of Taylor Swift concerts. I would have postponed the trip, if I had known before hand.

The elevator floor was rotting and damp, damaged. The slide bolt on the door was broken in two, but the main lock on the did work. I was thinking it was pretty clean for a 2.5 star hotel, then I saw a roach on the wall. Only 1 though
