This Lexington hotel is 5 mi from the University of Kentucky and is a 15-minute drive from the Kentucky Horse Park. A cable TV and free toiletries in the private bathroom are provided in every room at the Red Roof Inn & Suites Lexington - Hamburg. Suites also includes a microwave and a refrigerator. Fax and photocopying services are available and guests have access to the business center. Interstate 75 is a 2-minute drive from the hotel. - The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. It was the highlight of this trip.

Cons -
- The room was rather dated. It needed more detail to cleaning. The bathroom door was badly splintered with peeking paint and stains on it. The back lot feels unsafe. Plus there were mattress frames obstructing the walkway.
- First room filthy. Slightly better on second try. Does this hotel house the homeless? Passed several rooms with loud out of control kids. The whole hotel was filthy with many fixtures including outside doors that were broken, in terrible shape.
- The whole place smelled like weed and the room was filthy. My boyfriend stepped on a needle that got stuck in his shoe. The fire alarm and carbon monoxide detector both malfunctioned with constant beeping and we had to take the batteries out of both.
