Econo Lodge Lawrence near University

Location was good.

Was charged twice and still waiting to see if the 2nd charge gets taken off. When checking out I told the attendant that I was charged twice and they indicated that one charge would drop off. So far that has not been the case.

The location was close to all activities that we were involved in.

The hotel needs work. Sheets were dirty, lotion bottle was half empty, shower leaked out of everywhere causing limited water pressure, and room cramped. Breakfast was written that it starts at 6am but it was modified to 7am without notice both days.

The staff was great and always available for us with any issues and questions, always kind and helpful, the front desk was also very helpful and kind , and always willing to assist you with your issues and questions about the room and availability for us.

There was nothing wrong at the hotel we enjoyed everything

The room had roaches in it and we had to buy roach spray in order to stay in the room

Location

Hotel lobby area shabby, furniture dirty in lobby and room. Owners did not care to turn on AC before I arrived so the room was extremely hot. The sheets were so old that the thread in them was coming out. The room has not been renovated for at least 10.

No AC, Hair in shower, I changed the sheets both beds, outlet not working in bathroom. No ice in ice machine. 92 degrees out that day and the room was hot. They said they would refund our room but have not seen anything yet. Beds sagged to the middle.

I could send you pictures. This whole hotel was a complete dump. I had a man try breaking into my room at 5:30 in the morning. I looked out my window and he saw me and he ran and jumped into his truck and took off. I would not even take a shower.

Nice staff, great location, good parking

It is what it is, a necessity stay at the best rate, but a good one.

Dirty Rooms Unfriendly Staff Garbage around the Property

had a ground floor room

bugs in the bathroom and ants on the heat register told the manager and she would not refund any of my money. It rained for 2 two days, told me it was just the weather. Their should never be ants of little bus flying around in a hotel room.

I had to wait 4 hours for them to hook up my tv. Also the bathtub wasnt holding water, the bathroom door had a fist hole. I hated it and feel violated!

I found a roach in the room. the bathtube was dirty ( i ran a bathtowel over the bottom of the tub. came up dirty). the toilet seat would not stay up (Im a guy).

the beds and pillows were comfortable. And, the towels were nice and soft.

the back of the bathroom door looked old and cracked. No breakfast.

The room cooled down pretty fast. They had updated tv. The beds was nice.

The bathroom was too small.

Close to Dillons

Pool not open. Room generally dirty, especially the floor. Check in took for ever and was uncomfortable. My guest accidentally took a hand towel and I was charged $80 for incidentals. No separate black out and shade curtains. Locked door not secure.

Staff was polite and nice.

There was police all over it all night, prime running around screaming all night and Knocking from people I didn’t know most the night.

The room was frigid and leaked air from the outside door and window. Heater did not have a thermostat so if left on to combat cold the room would eventually overheat. Went from ice box to oven all night.

The tv in my room didn't work at all and couldn't get a hold of anyone to fix it

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

The heater was very loud, but very effective.

Literally nothing

The room I rented had a broken lock. Manager insisted is was full price or I change rooms but the only room available was $20 more.
