Hampton Inn Terre Haute

It was just what we expected..Clean, nice bedding, and very quiet on the 2nd floor. Staff very friendly and breakfast was great!

Could use a freshening of decore but front desk explained they were undergoing renovations at this time.

The mattresses were atrocious. I have severe back pain and I?m hurting more than every.. And half the TV channels didn?t work. .?

The desk and kitchen employees were great, the pool are was nice and the room was clean.

Thr location and staff was friendly.

Need some updating. Paint was peeling on the wall.

Breakfast server was one of the nicest and most helpful persons I have encountered in any hotel.

The shower didn't have warm water the first night. Room wasn't very nice, and hotel seemed a little rundown. Hotel was very expensive for what we received. Warm water should be a minimum.

Hampton used to be a premier hotel chain. No more. This hotel (like a few other Hamptons I have stayed in recently) is old and run down. The bathroom needed updating as did the carpet. This hotel is more like a Motel 6 than a higher end establishment.

The staff¿s friendliness and helpfulness

The bed was smaller than I understood it would be and the hotel overall needs an update.

The manager or staff in charge was nice.

Yes we had to be switch 3 times in one night. first room smelled heavily of smoke second room faucet hard to turn on water did not get hot and the third room was finally ok and our destination.

Staff while checking in was very friendly and quick. They were present to talk with and gave restaurant ideas for us.

We stayed in a double bed room, my husband and I are larger persons and the beds were only full size , Most hotels I have stayed in a double room usually has queen.

Did not really like this hotel. Dark and dirty.

Bedroom floor was not clean. Room was very dark.

Yes hotel employee not very friendly and after I made reservation and arrived to be told they did not have anything...was worked out but will NEVER stay at a Hampton Inn again

Old property, average room, not up to expected Hampton standards.

Bed was comfortable, clean bathroom,towels and great working A/C Convenient as gas station was next door and loved how me and my Fiance had pool to self. Enjoyed breakfast as well props to her.

The curtains had this beaded string that you pull, it broke on the first slight pull! So i couldnt get natural light into my room....

Location was great as were the staff. Breakfast was decent.

The window was unlockable but appeared to be jammed shut. The curtain could not be raised or lowered. Bathroom floor caulking had been redone with some kind of epoxy, looking very amateurish. Carpeting in the hotel was a tripping hazard- bunched up.

Comfy bed, breakfast included, easy access.

Though comfy bed there were many areas in hotel room that looked to be updated but in a poor manner. Paint over outlets and some holes in parts of wall and an exposed wire in back of bed. Also wish tv had more channels.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The serve a great breakfast with a variety of things to choose from.

The rooms were nice, however, I could tell it still needed some upgrades.

Good location. Easy highway access. Continental breakfast was good and the lady attending the breakfast area was very nice.

The room itself was clean but the bathroom sink would not drain! Black sludge came up from the drain hole disgusting! Definitely not a new problem and should have been fixed. Whoever is in charge of housekeeping or maintenance should be fired.

The ceiling in the bathroom needs attention. Desk staff was rude. Amount held did not match the percentage displayed on the sign. When I pointed it out, he turned the sign over and said it didn't apply because I booked on-line ?? Overpriced for value.
