Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame

Had to check out early so I called the front desk to ask if any penalties for doing so. She said explicitly ?no, there are no penalties.? After then making my alternate areangements hotel told me $75 fee. I?m Not happy. And manager was rude.

The suite was nice and my wife loved being back on ND;s campus.

There was only 1 tiny trash can to accommodate 2 adults and 3 teens; we ran out of hot water while taking a shower, and the pool was really shallow.

This hotel is the best I?ve stayed in years. Hotel chains have been declining in cleanliness and service, but Hilton really understands customer service. This hotel was very clean, the breakfast was phenomenal and the rooms were comfortable.

The grout on the tile floor was supposed to be cream colored. However, the floor was so dirty the grout look like it was black. We were not made aware that daily room service must be requested.

Location was perfect just south of the university.

Check in time was suppose to be 4pm but my room was not available until 6pm.

The toilet was clogged. Had to call reception for a plunger. The coffee creamer in the room was old such that it made lumps when I added it to my coffee. I feel I paid a lot of money for the kind of experience I had. Plus I had to pay for parking.

For it's location it is extremely peaceful.

Happy Hour was not up to usual standards. Bath tub need replacing.

The rooms were so tiny and small - this was not a suite!! this was very disappointing!!

Room didn¿t have all the towels for bathing and when calling for extra towels it took the staff 30mins to bring towels and it ended up being a janitor and not housekeeping that brought them. The shower door would not close

My truck catalytic converter senso Has been cut it and stolen overtime paring from hotel lot. Not safe place and management refuse to deal with it.

Loved the room! My husband and I really needed some relax time. The staff was super nice and accommodating! They had a happy hour Sunday night for guests, as well as an awesome breakfast buffet! Would definitely recommend this hotel!

How close it was to ND

We needed a key card to get out of the parking garage but we¿re not told this and it became a real hassle . We left with onset with the staff. They need todo much better . Also our room had a view of the roof¿. Bet there was a better on ona Tues.

Beautiful hotel and a great location. Staff was very nice. We had dinner at the Traditions bar and Tricia was wonderful. I am a wheelchair user and the hotel was very accessible, even the bar had a small section that is lower to accommodate wheelchairs.

Staff was very friendly. I suspect this is indicative of excellent management at hotel.

Staff was very friendly, breakfast had lots of cooked to order options, pastries better than average. And the managers reception was fun.

Parking - take your key with you when you leave as you need it to leave the parking deck.
