Homewood Suites by Hilton South Bend Notre Dame Area

The location. Lobby very clean.

The bathroom needed some help, bathroom sink did not drain well. The toilet paper holder pulled out of the wall and bathtub was stained. Expected more from a Hilton property.

The staff.

The plumbing was terrible. In the first room we were in the faucet wasn¿t attached and pull right out of the bathroom sink so we changed rooms. I¿m the second room, there was no hot water in the kitchen sink. It made it hard to wash dishes, etc.

The breakfast

The room that we had booked was supposed to be a suite. It was unavailable because the a/c had broken. The manager was not willing to work with us to provide us with replacement rooms. After 2 hours of arguing - we got rooms that were kind of ok.

What I liked best was the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the facility. I liked the personalized welcome message on TV screen as I first entered the room.

I thought they were like a regular where your room gets refreshing everyday. It's every other day. I thought that should have been mentioned at check in or a least a card explaining the details.

Love that room had everything you would at home.

That I got the hotel because it said it had a pool and hot tub. They said they didn't have either anymore. It was very disappointing to me and my children for a staycation from our house. We could have done the same thing at home. We stayed for the pool.

Room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The pool and hot tub were broken.

The bed was hard and not comfortable. The computer desk chair was heavily worn and needed replaced.

Selected this hotel for the two bedroom, two bathroom suite.

Extremely frustrated that the purpose for getting the suite was so the kids could swim. At check-in we discovered the pool wasn¿t open because the maintenance person didn¿t come to work that days.

The stoppers in the bathtub don¿t allow for a bath :(

This is the second time I stayed there that the stopper in the bath didn¿t work.

The front desk employee was very friendly and helpful. The location is very good and the rooms are big and nice.

The only thing I didn¿t like was at 7:15am a housekeeper knocked a few times and then just opened the door. Not sure why so early

the fee for a pet was $75, that is more than it cost for each adult person. It was midnight when we checked in and we were tired so I did not argue the price but it was ridiculous.

Room was wonderful

The unexpected $250 deposit that will not be returned for up to 10 days. This is also in addition to a $75 pet deposit.

It was as clean and the floor plan was great full size refrigerator

Clean hot tub and pool area. Reception with food and adult beverages included on certain weekdays.

Location Was a bit congested. Hotel is located on a busy road, and not terribly close to the University of Notre Dame.

Kitchen facilities in room exceeded expectations. Breakfast while limited was better than expected during Covid times.

There were rooms available.

Pool and hallways quite dirty.

room was smaller than expected/refrigerator didn't work/rip in the sofa/noisy guests at 1am

Very friendly staff! Clean and comfortable bed! They were very kind to my dog!
