Are there even any good things about this hotel?

The hotel was extremely cramped and uncomfortable. It was nowhere near the standard of a Hyatt hotel. I saw most of the guests leave the hotel without eating breakfast, carrying just one or two bananas with them.

The breakfast was decent. Not a lot to offer but good options regardless.

It smelled, BAD. Everything smelled of mildew and wetness. When checking out they try to double charge me saying my card got declined even though it charges you before you stay, she made me wait while we talked to her boss, made us late.

It was convenient to the football fields we came to play at.

The staff was less than friendly. Everywhere we went in the hotel needs a good cleaning. And the lady at the front desk yelled at our kids for playing in the pool area. They were all being watched by several adults and not doing anything unsafe.

The room was spacious. A tv in each living area.

The ad said it had a tub and shower. Lighting wasn?t very good. Breakfast was sub par.

Staff was nice. Clean room, nice breakfast and lobby. Nice new set up.

Heating system was strange but liked digital control. Phone was old and did not work.

Location to activities on river. Short walk

Hotel is in Terrible condition. I¿m not sure how it is still allowed to be called a Fairfield Inn. Entire place smells like mold. Dehumidifiers in rooms. Have to hold breathe on elevator it smells so bad

Erroneous charges coupled with horrible customer service during and after stay. The lack of a response from the GM tells me this behavior is either encouraged or allowed.

The location of the Hotel was prefect for getting to and from downtown Louiville.

The bathroom in our hotel was not cleaned before we arrived. A dirty band aid was in the bathtub, hair was still on the shower wall. Soap and shampoo was still in the shower from the previous people.

Beds were comfortable.

Dated and tired. Have stayed here many times over the course of 30 years, and the Edgewater is sadly a shadow of its former self. Needs a renovation badly.

Staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. Breakfast was sufficient though minimal, which is still probably due to Covid.

I was in a King room for disable guests, though I am not disabled, so I am not sure if this is why there was no full length mirror. Not a deal breaker. I would definitely stay again though.

The website advertised hot breakfast buffet. They had grab and go breakfast. They need to change their description on the website.

Our room was pretty standard for this type of hotel. The beds were comfortable.

The hotel seemed to be in shambles. The floors were stained, the outside was less than appealing, the front door seemed like an alley or side entrance. They were painting and the fumes were almost unbearable. The "breakfast" was horrible.

Not enough cleanliness. Expected more. A lot of filth. Stains everywhere, hotel is very dated.

The location was close to the bridge to downtown Louisville.

Because the bathroom caulk was old, the bathroom felt dirty. Also, the tub in the first room we had drained so poorly, we had ankle deep water during the shower. The next room had the shower sprayer handle broken. Overall, felt poorly maintained.

The cleanliness of the hotel. The comfort of the room was great! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great! Guy at check in was very kind and helpful.

The front desk was sort of rude. As we checked in, we expected a "hot breakfast" because that is what it said in the hotel description. When we confirmed this, he said "No, we don't have a hot one. He was rude in explaining why and wasn't apologetic. Rude
