Paddle Wheel Inn

Location was right for my needs. room clean. was combination myself/senior and another room for son/wife. River view rooms good.

Checkout day roofing crew at 8 AM wasn't appreciated without any warning or offers to change room for son/wife on 3rd floor right beneath the roof work being done.

The room size and cleanliness. The common kitchen area And river view.

The front lobby door is open all night but there is no security or staff available.. The water pipes in the walls make noise all night. The rooms have adjoining doors thin walls and you hear the person next door , coughing and their tv on all night¿¿Â

Location and ambience

The room located at end of hall and could hear some mechanical noise like from a furnace or water system. There was a bad odor in the room when entering by entrance .Otherwise it was clean and bed was good quality. The microwave and fridge are nice.

Great rate. Good service. Nice, clean room. Comfy bed. Convenient location. And right across the parking lot, one of the best steak places in Illinois.

The hotel is quaint. Staff worked with us on late arrival. Beautiful view of river andBlackhawk. Good accommodations at a good price.

Rough mattress. It was uncomfortable and made sounds at the slightest movement. No kidding. It squeezed if you straighten a leg or stretch. When sitting up or rolling over, it was actually noisy.

Absolutely clean and cozy hotel with a gorgeous view! Staff was very nice and coffee in the lobby was delicious. Will definitely stay here each time I come to visit. I look forward to trying the 2 restaurants as they were closed during the week still.

The room was extremely clean, the bathroom was wonderful, the beds were heaven, and the view was spectacular!

It would have been nice that breakfast came with, however there were many options in Oregon to choose from.

The front desk woman was very friendly and helpful. Great riverfront view.

The 19 inch TV left a bit to be desired.

The rooms were large and clean. My room had a balcony with a view of the river. I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone who needed to stay in the Oregon area as we did. There is really no other option except for a b&b, and we prefer privacy

This was a very basic accommodation. An in-room coffee maker would have been nice. There was coffee provided in the lobby, but it was really terrible coffee.

Tucked away in a very scenic river setting. 2 great reataurants for the area are within 100 ft of the hotel.

TV is very small.

Bugs were horrible. Front desk person told use restaurant closed at 9 which was 8 but they let us place a to go order so we had take food back to our room. Tiny tv.

The staff was very friendly and the rooms clean. Microwave and frig in room.

The lobby and doors close at 9pm.
