Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago/Mt. Prospect

The location was in the middle of everything. Shopping, eating and travel was made easier by the location of the hotel.

The hotel was average. The breakfast was good but usual in the things they provided. There was only one elevator that was working to get the people to the four floors of guest accommodations.

Swimming pool was cold, toilet clogged twice, one front desk was rude, no maintenance staff on duty at night, room was cramped

The rooms were spacious and the location was very quiet. We enjoyed the breakfast and the pool.

There was a real struggle with the room key cards. 80% of the time the cards didn't work. It was frustrating.

The bed sucked. I did not get a good night rest. The other people I went there with didn?t either.

Hot breakfast was great. They alternated sausage one day and bacon the next. Waffles, peppers in the potatoes, cereal for kiddos, delicious muffins, bagels, bread, eggs, juices, and coffee :) Pool work and work out room. Very clean and elegant. :)

35 minutes to get to downtown Chicago. 55 minutes with traffic which was two of the three days we were there.

Very large room, comfortable beds, good location near restaurants and some shops, movie theater. Staff was very nice and helpful, good breakfast and it stays open until 10 which was really nice since we're sleeping in on vacation.

My room key had to be redone a few times and we had some water seep in our room after a big thunderstorm but it wasn't too bad. Those were our only issue.

Real nice hotel. Location seemed weird in middle of a parking lot, but it worked.

Real long walk to the room (long hallway). Eggs in water for breakfast did not work.

Room temperature was great¿- easy to adjust. Comfortable bed, and nice shower. Good breakfast too.

It's unfortunate, but one employee can ruin an entire stay but this one was terrifically bad. I would not, and cannot, recommend because of the staff.

The room received had some sort of HVAC issue which made some awful noise for twenty or thirty minutes at a time throughout the night. I eventually went to the front desk at 3 am to request a new room.

Room was spacious, modern and clean. Buffet service was good.

We booked a King Bed but we¿re given a room with 2 queens without any explanation or apology by front desk. When I called after getting into room, the hotel rep told me there were no rooms with King beds . No apology was provided. This is Unacceptable!

No ice bucket on room,but we were brought one promptly when requested. On our first breakfast the 2% milk had turned bad.

Location in mall strip, upward view. Nice breakfast, sufficiently cleaned.

Very thin walls, flooring. Guest cross from me was a bit rowdy and you get good exercise walking to room. Mostly walking distance from elevator. Small.noisy microwaves.

Staff was speedy and friendly. Easy checkin and got text reminder of checkout time

I mostly liked the ease of getting around - the hotel is in a great location, walking distance to shopping and food. Loved parking in the garage. Loved how huge the suite was.
