Quality Inn Galesburg near US Highway 34 and I-74

our room door did not lock unless we pulled hard on it and made sure it was locked. The outside entry door lock was broken, did not need a key card to enter.

There is a nearby park (one-half mile west) with a quiet nature trail. The hotel itself is a nice, quiet, clean, and basic place to stay.

They didn't get the frost out of the freezer. Almost unusable. Didn't fix the sidewalk where the metal was standing up 2 inches. Tripped on it and cut my toes.

the obvious, almost obsessive, desire to make sure we were completely happy with our stay. We had a little problem with the diverter in the tub/shower. While we were out the next day, plumbers replaced the whole thing.

the bathroom could be a little bigger. Prices could have been normal instead of inflated because of the Knox Homecoming.

Breakfast was great. Probably the best part of the stay

I had asked for joining rooms, which on arrival was told they had a quest already in the room they were going to give us. I specifically asked for joining. That was the selling point. Very, very disappointed. Not enough space to continue.

The breakfast was a good selection: cereal, waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs, bagels, toast, muffins, yogurt.

I arrived at 6 o'clock and was given the key. The room door was ajar, and the room waan't cleaned yet. They prepared the room in 10-15 minutes, but the whole stay, I just felt like they cut corners to get the room ready. The internet did not always work.

This hotel did not say it did not accept cats until a small sign at check in. We were unable to stay.

The staff is very kind and welcoming.

The hotel itself needs updated and repaired badly. The room was dank humid and smelled like a moldy basement. Whomever owns the hotel is clearly not concerned with the people who pay good money to stay there. The staff is wonderful and they deserve better

The carpet was dirty. The bedding was filthy it had human and pet hair all over it. You could tell that the sheets were not changed. Chair was broke and fire detector was hanging of the wall.

The room wasn't turned over and was dirty, especially for a name brand hotel.

room was dirty and had not been cleaned since last occupied. There was a dirty t shirt left in a waste basket, broken dorito chips on the floor. Tub did not drain during shower.

It was close to the place I had to go

The price could of been better and it would of been nice if it had a swimming pool

The toilet was my issue I had to put water in it to push everything down The drain. was disgusting also had to keep towels on floor because toilet was leaking and loose.the hotel was quite and staff was great. Food was ok

I pAid in full when I booked the room. When I checked out they tried to charge me again. Luckily I didn't have $ in that account. The room was not clean. Had a musty odor. Will not stay there again
