Pros +
- The atmosphere was amazing. The cabins were set back in a nice and quiet setting away from all the going ons in town. Walking around the property seeing the little sayings and quotes was enjoyable. Breakfast was like something you would have at home.
- The relaxing environment and personal touch was everywhere on the property. Steps leading to the river were so convenient as well as the different types of areas to relax...on a great open deck or tucked away on a grassy area in the shade under trees.
- The cabins are lovely. Clean and cozy! Location was perfect. Communication with the host was seamless.
Cons -
- The hotel never replied to my late check-in requests. I left three voicemails, a callback request, had Booking email them, emailed twice to two different emails, and Insta'd twice. Their phone doesn't ring. Their answering machine is a greeting from 2022.
- I liked absolutely everything about Bristol Cabins.
- I don't believe the owner/manager was prepared for snow. I had about 4/5 in. of snow on my stoop and steps throughout my stay. I almost dixied going to the bathroom in the dark as the toilets are in a separate building. No breakfast as promised either :(
