Cleanliness, location, staff. Hotel employee was the best what a hoot she’s great.

Great location along the Mississippi and near Effigy Mounds. Clean comfortable rooms and enthusiastic staff.

Being right on the river and train tracks, there are occasional loud horn blasts from boats and freight trains passing by. Not the hotel?s fault, they even provided earplugs and I got a great nights sleep. Just something to keep in mind when booking.

There weren¿t near enough parking spaces in the lot for the hotel, so I had to drive down the street and park on the street side. They supply earplugs because of the consistent barrage of trains that go by less than half a block away.

The room and hallways were cold. The train runs until 12:30 am .

Loud guests above us; ongoing trains passing all night - was not aware that this was next to the hotel; horrible breakfast - slimy brown stuff in the pancake mix, cold and undercooked eggs - we had a packaged roll, that was it.

Night clerk Brandon was on the spot when the TV didn¿t work. He came immediately and made it work. Had a great personality, unlike clerk Donna.

The clerk Donna. No personality. We arrived 20 minutes prior to posted check in time and weren¿t allowed to check in earlier. 20 minutes, really. We had issues with the a/c in the room. Donna solution, have it checked the next day.

Location! 4th floor viewing area of the river. Easy to walk around town to sightsee. Very picturesque little town.

Parking was a little tight.

Vicki was very helpful at checkin. Recommended Mulligans to eat at. Very good place. She was nice and accommodating.

Parking is extremely limited which spills over into curbside parking. The area is quite from a traffic standpoint, but not an ideal place for someone with a truck. There¿s also a very active train crossing right next to the hotel. Bring ear plugs!
