Econo Lodge Maquoketa

Pros +

• Not a pleasant experience
• The beds were comfortable and fully supplied with towels, soaps, coffee, etc, Breakfast was better than expected--had hot items including eggs and sausage.
• Room was very nice, clean and bed was comfortable.

Cons -

• The staff, not at all friendly. Back door to the hotel was not secure. DANGEROUS! Ceiling tiles in the hallways were covered in stains. The room was missing light bulbs. The tub was disgusting and there was noise in the hallway all night.
• There was a dirty shirt, a nail sticking out of the floor, had to change the tv by the cable box, fridge would tilt.
• The garbage can in the dining area was filthy. Not pleasant to see this while eating.
