Location

The outside areas and entrance is sketchy. The hallways are old and musky and the pool needs new tiles or paint badly. Anywhere else and this would be half the price.

Close to hospital

Smelled. Noisy. Bed was clanky and hard. Tub would not drain. Breakfast was a joke. Saw staff at check in and that's it.

That they were very accepting of my pet he's big and hairy when I mention I have pet and he's a people pet but they were very accommodating considering he was only 15 $ Xtra

This true forr me at all motels/hotels check out at 11 am is too early.

Front desk, housekeeping.

It smelled musty and moldy in the room and lobby. The bathroom ceiling had water leak marks on it. The stairways and stair entrances smelled of smoke, and cigarette butts were on the floor.

It was located on the main route into town.

Dirty towels left in the bathroom from previous tenant, dirty sheets on one bed, had to change room. Found animal feces in the 2nd room. Manager refusd to talk to us.

I had a room for the night.

Boarded up window with broken glass and no light. Sheet was stained by pillow area. Floor was no vacuumed.

Yes everything about the room. Air condition went out and it was way to hot to sleep. Came up for my grandma's funeral. Very poor room.

Checked in room Black Mold on the ceiling in bathroom, the gave another room same thing, 3rd room didnt hav and visual of mold but i was having alergic reactions in room, I tried find a new hotel all were booked in area.

This is my third visit to the Grinnell, Iowa Super 8. The only complaint I had previously was that the pool water was too cool. This time it was just right! And the breakfast was very good, including the malt waffles and sausage gravy with biscuits.

Can't think of a thing. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The coffee

It took 45 minutes for someone to show up to get me checked in The room stunk , the walls had stains on them. Pain peeling off the walls and ceiling. The tub had brown mold around it. The big breakfast they offered was a joke. Room was dirty. -5 star

The price.

It smelled of mold upon entering the lobby. The rooms are very run down. The popcorn ceiling was peeling off, the dresser and cabinets were banged up, the top blanket was very old and dirty. The continental breakfast was very limited. Tiny bugs in the bat

The location was great, the staff very friendly and helpful. The best part was the quietness, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and clean.

Staff was friendly.

Room smelled musty. Refrigerator was so loud when it ran that we had to turn it off at night.

Linens were all brand new and freshly changed. Room was great.

The carpets were very dirty. My feet were black after putting things away. The bathroom was not like the one advertised. The shower curtain was dirty, the walls looked like patchwork gone wrong. Our microwave did not work. We left early because of it
