plumbing is a huge issue. had to move rooms 3 times due to toilets getting backed up. even tried to flush with just water in the bowl and still backed up. shouldnt have to worry about going to the bathroom and flushing the toilet.

Location and cleanliness of the room was a plus

No parking and trucks blocking everything

I love my stay at this hotel. The staff made me feel at home and helped me with everything that they could... They have a policy that if the rm isn't clean to ur liking upon entering they will clean it before moving in... everything is new and clean

They don't have breakfast or a pool

We love this hotel! The one bedroom king suite was big. Having a full size refrigerator, two TVs and two eye stove was a plus. Also when the staff found out we had return because our mom had passed they left a card and candy in our room.

Nope. Love everything about this hotel.

Best hotel I have stayed at on my coast to coast road trip!

I have stayed at many hotels over the years, this is definitely now one of my favorite places to stay. The atmosphere was so tranquil, it was easy to relax in our room. The bed was incredibly comfortable and close to delicious restaurants and entertainment.

I did find a water bottle between the bed and night stand that was definitely not picked up from the previous customer.

Lived it. Clean, friendly staff, great warm breakfast.

We had a problem with our room blowing a circuit breaker which was frustrating and worrisome.

There was no breakfast. They have a little shop where you can purchase snacks and coffee. The rooms don't have blow dryers. We did get one at the front desk. It took us almost 30 minutes to check-in because there was only one person at the desk.

We like everything about this hotel. It’s one of our favorites when traveling East or West. Always clean and a friendly staff. It’s close to anything you may be hungry for and is easy off and on the interstate.

Upon arrival, I waited over 30 minutes just to check in because there was no one at the front desk. When I finally got to my room, the entire hallway—and the room itself—reeked of a strong, unpleasant fish odor, clearly from someone cooking. It was overwhelming and made the space uninhabitable.I immediately went back to the front desk to report the issue, but once again, there was no staff available. After waiting another 15 minutes with no response, I had no choice but to leave the hotel altogether. I was there for barely 20 minutes.

The 1st night was rough, there were ants everywhere in our room. After night staff and early morning staff told us they would have maintenance put ant killer in our room, it didn't happen. The bright spot though, there was a wonderful front host named Dakota who moved us rooms. Dakota was a pleasant, understanding young gentleman, who answered all of our questions, and made sure my son had an extra blanket for his pull out bed, and found me some pillows that didn't have feathers in them. The new room was clean, and ant free! The hotel is in a decent location, with plenty of options around it. It was nice and quiet as well, and if you like water pressure, the shower pressure was amazing!!

I was so happy to see that Candlewood was in Davenport! I stayed at Candlewood in Texarkana and it was excellent! I was so happy to see that I received the same excellent service by your staff! The room was perfect! I told my husband that I wish I could find a place just like this for us to live at!

An ice machine would be nice.
