Pros +
- Very historic, well maintained, helpful staff. Bowling alley in the basement!!!!
- You are close to very good restaurants.
- Comfortable room, quiet.
Cons -
- Sadly, our mattress in our room needs to be replaced. There were large indentations where the mattress has broken down. Thankfully, my husband and I are not big people although I felt as if the mattress was swallowing me alive. Awful nights sleep.
- Water pressure in the shower was very strong. Almost too strong. Some of the towels were ratty and in need of replacement. I was not expecting this at a luxury hotel.
- Parking lot hard to access but understandable considering location.

The hotel had character, well maintained excellent combination of history and modernization. Food was above par

Beautiful interior, clean and quiet
Fabulous hotel!! Comfortable bed and pillows! Spacious rooms. Great evening security measures. Bowling alley in the hotel!
AC would only go to 65, so room was warmer than we'd like.
The Drake is one of the coolest classic old hotels in Chicago ¿ let alone the US. Very cool to stay there. The old bar is a classic too.
Great location great view of the river.
Our bed was not super comfortable it had a huge dip in it so I¿d assume it was close to getting replaced
Not worth the money. For those prices, I expected it to be over the top. Staff in the bowling alley was rude, half the lanes didn¿t work, our room had rotting fruit left in the refrigerator at check in. Crumbling plywood next to fridge.
The personal touches, pianist, tv in the bathroom mirror, the staff at check-in who helped me
There was a pair of socks from a previous guest in our room and a molded cup in our fridge
Beautiful historic property. Everything well laid out and comfortable. Room was very nice. Great bed and high pressure shower. Tv in the mirror in the bathroom is a classy touch.
Very nice room and building
Bowling alley was closed, which was the reason we selected the hotel. Staff was rude when I asked if we could get free breakfast or parking due to the misunderstanding.
Beautiful historic building with elegant restorations; spacious and well appointed guest rooms; charming common areas; and great location. Unique on- property features like the spa and bowling alley/martini bar make the hotel a destination in itself.
Great location and overall very nice hotel, friendly staff and well equipped rooms.
Room was very spacious and beautiful. Staff was kind and helpful and having the bar and restaurant was great to have.
Great location and I liked the soaker tub in the bathroom.
I think the cost per night was way too much for what we got. Pool and hot tub were unusable, room was small, walls were thin and neighbors were loud. Don't recommend staying here if there's an event going on at the Adler theater.
The overall experience was okay location was pretty decent but several good in the
Our experience with the room was not great we had to wash out the jacuzzi before we could use it shower was very dirty the floors were dirty cabinet for the refrigerator was falling apart the room overall was very for will never stay there again
Beautiful hotel. Good food in their restaurant. Loved the bowling alley. Close to many bars/restaurants. Indoor pool has nice sky view and outdoor area. Bed was clean and comfortable.
Said there was dry cleaning available. (Not on the weekends or anywhere else in the local area!) Could not cool the room. It stayed around 72 deg. Lighting in the room is terrible for putting on makeup (Had a wedding to attend). Our room lacked a iron.
The suite was great and I loved that so much was co-located here: restaurants, gym, pool, salon, and a bowling alley! We will definitely stay here next time we're in Davenport.
Breakfast service at the restaurant was EXTREMELY slow - but I realize that's the case across the entire service industry at the moment.
The staff were very professional, courteous, attentive, and accommodating. The room and hotel appearance is stunning.
There wasn¿t anything we did not like about this hotel.
