    Pros +

    • It’s quiet because Unfortunately for them there’s not many guests on a Saturday. Front desk staff were very friendly
    • No breakfast ever though they ads it and they doubled charges me for the room
    • I've stayed here several times, and have never had any problems. Management is so easy to accommodate their guests- they always go the extra mile.

    Cons -

    • Sufficient room. However it snowed during the night and they did nothing to clear the sidewalks or lot. In fact I had to leave my car and pick it back up after work. Lot was still poorly done. Staff only made excuses instead of apologizing.
    • They changed my reservation upon check-in from a King suite to a single full bed. When I complained, they stated that I stole from the hotel. Very dishonest and vengeful.
    • Here’s the list of odd things: 1 plastic cup, 1 styrofoam Cup, no coffee pot or deCaf, Toilet has problems !! Desk chair and couch are filthy. Shower door doesn’t latch. A/C random and noisy Disappointing for a King suite Unfortunately we re

    Would not stay again

I've stayed here several times, and have never had any problems. Management is so easy to accommodate their guests- they always go the extra mile.

I had 2 queen beds, with plenty of room to add a comfortable reclining chair... wishful thinking perhaps. Also, the entrance to the parking lot needs some pavement work- it's pretty rough.

It seemed to be much cleaner and updated than Motel 8, which we normally stay in.

Coffee machine was not working properly.

Thought the price was high for the town

    Passable

Parking lot was not cleaned of snow. StSidewalks werenot even scopped 5 hrs after snow stopped. Staff wouldn't help those of us getting stuck why trying to leave for work.

Breakfast is pretty much a joke! Taking advantage of covid to an excess compared to any other place.

Have to pay in advance of even showing up!

    3MichaelPosted on: 1-10-2022

    Never again.

The first day of stay, the fire evacuation door was chained shut. The second day of stay, the same door was unchained and usable, but was not locked from outside. Lamp switches in room were inoperable. No additional pillows in suite w/sleeper sofa. Ironing board was broken, would not stand. Automatic front door to lobby was inoperable, had to open and close by hand. Elevator call button was broken, pushed inside of mounting. 2nd floor ice machine was broken and our of service. Could not get a copy of all charges upon checkout.

    Location

The bedding was super thin. No actual comforter. The towels were small and thin. No shampoo or conditioner provided. The bed was stiff and uncomfortable.

    The staff was friendly

For the price of the stay the rooms were very dirty, I even went to make coffee in the morning and there was a used sachet left in there from the last person (that's disgusting, and what else are they not cleaning if they don't check the coffee pot in between stays) and the smell when you entered the room was musty. I was told there were problems with security so they left the side doors locked and to let my dog out I just had to prop the door open with a rock, problem was there was a rock left in the door the entire night (not by me) so anyone could've walked in anyways. The staff was very friendly but charging over $250 for two nights was absolutely ridiculous. They also will make no exception to wave the extremely high cancellation fee so I've wasted almost $400 on this one-star hotel.

Breakfast was ok. Bed was comfortable, rooms size is good. I really think a small bbq area outside would make a whole lot of difference when people decide where to stay and for how long.

No outdoor facilities, hugh outdoor but all concrete and parking, no benches or relaxation area. Just doesn't feel homey.

    Clean and friendly

Too pricey for an older rural motel

    10GeoffreyPosted on: 5-12-2021

Our experience at this hotel was very good. The hotel staff were friendly. Hotel was spotlessly clean and there were covid rules in place. They were concerned to protect their guests and themselves. There was a nice area for walking the dog. In Creston nothing is far, but there were several restaurants nearby, a Walmart and Dollar Tree, all within walking distance. Our room was a king suite, it was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. There was a mini fridge with a freezer which was perfect, and a microwave. We utilized both. Bed was comfortable. We didn't really watch the tv, but it was available.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Very clean room and common areas, great breakfast, friendly staff, very nice fitness room (small but very new and nice). We stayed most of the weekend in our room, so it was wonderful to have a large, clean room.

No suggested improvements! It was great!
