My wife and I stayed 2 nights. The water in my room smelled bad. I could not even take a shower in it. There was also a very foul odor coming from the AC unit. All of our clothes smelled horrible for the remainder of our trip.

The staff is so friendly, always greeted with a smile.

Very home like. I travel a lot, this is my go to spot when in the Des Moines area. Close to everything.

Smelled of dog urine. Towels were stained. Mattress was on some sort of metal frame that sounded like you were sleeping on a filing cabinet everytime you moved. Empty containers of soap, shampoo and conditioner. Worst hotel I've stayed at in 20 years.

It was disgusting and dirty. In so many areas. Creepy groups of men in the parking lot at all hours of the night.

Soap wasn't refilled, charged extra for a 2 double bed assuming that it was 2 separate adults and not 2 adults and 2 kids

staff was very nice!

the keyless cards did not work very well. hard to get into room. heater was very loud. water pressure was poor.

The location was good for our trip.

It felt run-down, dated, and stale. Only the rooms were air conditioned, so the rest of the building was hot, humid, and musty.

Location, cleanliness, friendly and accommodating staff.

The bathroom fan very loud, room stunk, not handicapped accessible like requested, per deposit not informed of, no pool in our building

It was close to the interstate

The cleanliness was to be better. We closed the curtains and there was brown wipings on it. Don't know what it was but if I had to guess fecies. Ice machine was to far away from second floor.

The floor was wet and sticky in my room in about half of the room! The Tv in the room was broken when we checked in then they accused us of breaking it!

Very friendly staff, super accommodating. When they realized I had two babies in a stroller they made sure to give me a room on the main level rather than upstairs. This is our go to hotel for last minute stays in Des Moines.

Rooms were clean and smell free. Rooms were cleaned each day of my stay also.

Breakfast was a disappointment. Almost worthless. That is one thing that really matters to me as i do not have time to go out in the AM to get B-fast and I'm not eating at McDonalds, ever

They charged me $20 extra because ji had two kids with me but I put that in when I booked the room. Didn¿t think that was right.

I have stayed for 9 days for my doctor&it's a wonderfully ran hotel. It is amazing what a little bit of kindness does for a person. The wonderful lady@the front desk is always smiling&makes a bad day go away. It was her kindness that kept me here 9 days

I swear to you, there is nothing that jumps out at me that they need to work on or add. The staff is wonderful even the housekeeping man and woman brighten your day with the kindness.

The owners are dishonest. They claim a pet friendly hotel but when we arrived after a long travel day they told us they didn¿t take cats and refused us a room. I would advise travellers to stay away from this property!

The bed was comfortable and room was nice.

I was there two days and there was no tv because they were updating it, they should have let people know beforehand there wouldn¿t be issues
