Staybridge Suites Cedar Rapids North by IHG

Room was overbooked, had to wait 2 hours to get a room that was not what I booked, then was moved to another room which had a broken AC. This was very inconvenient since I had kids. But the receptionist was very nice and worked hard to fix the issue

I booked this hotel months in advance for my daughters 11th birthday. Her and her 2 friends wanted to swim in the pool, that's it. We get to the hotel and the pool is closed for maintenance. I couldnt cancel either without paying.

Ants on the counters and in the shower. When I went to adjust the shower head I had ants all over my hand. While we ate on the countertop we were squishing ants with our fingers. Mentioned to management the next day and did not care. TV remotes no work.

Big rooms, well appointed kitchen, comfy beds, great complimentary breakfast.

Got my dress stolen by someone on the staff. Dirty towels in bathroom from the client before me. Dirty toilet as well. Asked front desk to clean my room as I stayed several days and it never. happened. Also glasses were chipped and cracked

Friendly staff! Clean, large room. Close to shopping and restaurants.

I was in an adjoining room with multiple teens who were loud AND a barking dog that woke me up multiple times. Literally worst hotel experience. The two evening front desk people were lovely but this is a terrible hotel.

Size of room. Super friendly and accommodating staff.

Hallways not cleaned/vacuumed daily. Inside of elevator was treated with a very strong smelling substance which lasted for days, yet doors and walls were dirty inside with the same marks all four days. Toilet extremely low.

The rooms are above and beyond. Full kitchen, Soft pillow and comfortable bedding. Full size coffee pot with exceptional coffeee. The complimentary breakfast was good and the blueberry muffins were the star of the show.. nice lounge with big screen¿

The room was spacious

I did not like that the bathroom sink area was open to the bedroom with no door. There was no hook in the toilet area to hang clothes. There were no extra blankets for person who slept on couch. Price was jacked up for graduation weekend :(

Overall it was good. The breakfast was awful. If something was dropped on the floor it wasn¿t picked up. We were going to have yogurt but when we went to scoop it out we found a large spoon in the bottom of the dish. It was disgusting.

The staff at this hotel is so friendly and helpful. They truly make staying here so enjoyable. I also enjoyed the breakfast offered. There was enough variation each day that I didn¿t get bored of it. I also loved the size of the room.

As much as I loved the size of the room, this was the most uncomfortable bed I¿ve ever slept in. It was extremely hard and impossible to sleep on. The water pressure is horrendous.

We loved this hotel, and stayed twice during our trip. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The staff was friendly. The breakfast far surpasses other hotel breakfasts. Our college student loved the exercise room. We will stay here again on our next trip.

Too much noise. Hotel is adjacent to major highway. No coffee in the morning--coffee kept running out.

Clean, bright , comfortable, cozy. Staff was kind and helpful . Food was good and hot

It was a little hard to finger to it from the interstate .

There was no shampoo in the shower container and this wasn't discovered until I was in the shower ready to wash my hair. We stayed a second night and, in spite of a request to have the supply replenished, the shampoo container was still empty the next day

Bugs, cockroach in the sofa sleeper, Ants and bugs in bathroom. Hallways and elevators were dirty, gym no towels or drinking cups for water. Location loud with freeway road noise and train tracks. The photos of the hotel and rooms are misleading.

The room was big and beds and pillows very comfortable Nicely decorated and a good value. We had a toddler with us and he had plenty of room to run and play

Rude and disrespectful front desk lady. Black bags of trash sitting by one small elevator during whole stay. Carpet looked like it had not been vacuum in days. Front entry filthy!! I stayed in Suite for reason. No forks! Ice maker didn't work!Have picture
