Castle Moloka'i Shores

Room had one outside chair., two seat cushions. Table chair rickety. Bed elevated too high. Difficult to enter. Screen on patio door broken, off track. furniture in living area VE|RY uncomfortable.

Smelled musty in the condo unit. Only 2 towels provided for a six night stay with no housekeeping. 2 more would have been nice. No air conditioning made it uncomfortable in the afternoon

Located close to main town of the island. Well kept grounds, great view. Friendly housekeepers

Older condo complex that is a mix of full timers and rentals. The unit was probably state of the art in 1975 when it was built but has seen better days. Bed was old and squeaky, very uncomfortable. Bed spread was ancient, as well as all the rest .

No staff available. This is not really a hotel. It is an owner owned property.

Stained carpets. Broken windows. Dirty.

The beach view was a good one, the amenities were nice (furnishings, full kitchen with flatware) and the location is nice, about a mile outside of Kaunakakai.

The smoke detector was missing.

It was so clean!

Nothing of fault from the hotel...It was hot (because of weather) even with the ceiling fans on.

The grounds were beautiful, close to town for walking or biking.

Unit was dated, could used updating.

The location was close to town and while there, the view is beautiful! From your lanai, you look out to the ocean to see Lanai and an antique fish pond. You feel surrounded by nature with beautiful birds.

You will have ZERO privacy! I felt like I was sleeping in an army barracks! You will hear every noise near & far. If you are trying to sleep but people are talking, there is no way to stop it. There is minimal supervision on the property. One day kids were literally screaming their heads off for hours. I wanted to paint and relax- IMPOSSIBLE. Finally people started screaming from their balcony ( me included) for the screaming to stop. The mom’s answer- the kids are playing!! I told her high pitched continued screaming for 3 hours was not playing. I did not go there from NC to argue with rude people who are clueless, to stay in a place where it’s allowed. I do not want to “ live” with 3 buildings of people on a vacation. Stay away! Go to the West end! This is not worth it at any price!

The grounds were beautiful & clean

Our room was very dirty. Interior of the Ice box door had stains of food on door & shelves. There was someone's clothes hanging in the closet when we got there. The ceiling fan in the bedroom did not work. The standing floor handle was broken so we had to put it on a table to reach the bed. The floor was not swept. 1st time we experienced that at Molokai Shores?

Good location

Filthy! Booking should be embarrassed to have this on their site. Grime on the lights, towels were filthy, kitchen was disgusting with grime. I took pictures and would like to share them with Booking

No glaring issues. Clean condo however bed has termite droppings. Screen and sliding doors are off track so difficult to open and close.

Provisions extensive for just about every need, tv access, beautiful landscaping, maintenance workers doing serious laboring, absolutely courteous room cleaner!

The chickens who defecated on the lanai, I know they do need to live somewhere. Personally I like chickens.

HIDDEN $30/room "check in fee" on TOP OF resort fees/taxes. UNDISCLOSED on any website I booked with. Check in lady was rude in front office. What is the $30 for? We only had ONE vehicle for all 6 of our rooms.

Back yard setting was nice, close to the beach, bbq facility, laundry facility, location to town and fishing. First floor unit. Wi-Fi

Sorry, but the place needs serious updating, remodeling! Time for owners to REINVEST! An AC is mandatory!Black fan was broken, living room tv very scratched! Bedroom tv not working! The big sliding screen door broken! Kitchen needs updating and very dirty. Hair blow drier broke, Furniture uncomfortable and dingy.$30 parking fee not appreciated. No weekend staff available on site.

Location was perfect. Oceanfront condo provided beautiful views. Lawn was well maintained. Condo had everything we needed and was gifted a bag that came in handy to bring back a whole lot of Molokai Hot Bread!

Confusion regarding checking in and getting a parking pass. Water in the bathroom was unpredictable. One evening the shower temperature was lukewarm and the sink was hot. Be aware of little ants. Luckily there was spray.

Clean unit, lots of supplies that we needed (cooler, chairs, Brita water jug).

Great ocean view, swimming pool, wonderful front yard
