The hotel location was fabulous. It had amazing amenities and right on the beach.

The facility did NOT have our "confirmed" reservation!!!! They had no record of us being booked there and we booked 2.5 months in advance. They were able to accommodate our stay but it wasn't without frustration- not what is need when on vacation!!!!!!!

The elevator to our part of the building was not working so as we walked 4 floors down from the street level and not it was repaired while we were there, we walked it and as we are 82 yrs old this was a painful thing for us to do. I asked one of the cleaning ladies how long it had been out and was told "no English".

We liked the location - it was right on the water and an easy walk to the restaurants/bars.

Dirty....did I mention DIRTY? Oh, and it was D-I-R-T-Y!

It was a great location, beach was just a few yards away, beautiful sunsets everyday.

Location was wonderful, Beautiful view of the ocean. Close to downtown restaurants/stores. Easy to find the condo.

Only thing was I couldn't get the TV in the living area to work but the TV in the bedroom was just fine.

The space and amenities were great and the location was perfect.

You can tell from walking in that the room had not been cleaned. Floors looked like they were never mopped. We bring slippers to wear indoors when we vacation and the bottom of our slippers turned black and even after washing them, they would turn black again. These slippers were only worn inside the room. The kitchen counters were not clean, neither was the sink. We wiped everything down and encountered smudges and crumbs. Bathroom was not clean. Toilet looked like no one had taken a brush to it, tub was not clean, and curtains had not been cleaned or replaced. Thankfully we bring our own disinfectant wipes and spray for situations like this.

I enjoyed sitting out on the balcony drinking coffee waiting for the sun to come up. The suite was very cozy. I only watched the television once the entire time. It's close to plenty of shopping and restaurants.

The time I had there was too short.

Good location. Fully equipped with washer and dryer. Full kitchen with dishwasher, tablets and dishwashing liquid!

Floors felt a little grainy and sticky- and the frying pan was a little greasy.

Close proximity to town, very competent and friendly staff.

Our view of ocean was limited to a slice of the water, sunset viewing had to be from downstairs by the pool as opposed to from the lanai

There is no assistance after office hours. No return calls.

Location was nice

Place and cleanliness was good, view from patio was great. Water pressure in shower was next to none. We contacted office by text and left a message to report that the safe in the closet kept ticking. Nobody reponded. We finally got back to condo during business hours and went to office to report. I let office person know issue and told him we have had 3 sleepless nights. His only response was I will send a maintenance person up, which he did. I have again texted for someone to call me back to discuss, but I have not heard from anyone . I would like some to call me @ 626-825-1440. I rent a place to sleep and that was not available at Kona Reef. Please call!I feel that we should receive some type of refund for something that should have been inspected before rented out. Thank you !

Nice view. Comfortable room. Generally clean. Close to many things. Good parking. Everything needed in kitchen. We were in B 35 and that was good room. Sofa bed was pretty comfortable. AC was good.

Two things. There was some construction noise and we should have been notified of that. The floor did not feel clean. Could not get office person to answer phone.

The location is perfect! Only 1 mile walk into town. Very convenient to restaurants and stores.

Great location. All beach gear was available to use free of charge. Excellent view of the ocean. Huge apartment with a full size fridge/ freezer. Quiet at night. Would return and highly recommend.

Nice pool & spa pool

A little dated but very tidy

Location was amazing. View from patio was top notch. Pool was amazing. Loved the books in the pool area to take and read. A lot of couples having dinner outside by the pool. Just a cool vibe. Parking was great. Beds were comfy. Was clean. Front desk gal was very nice and helpful. Walkable to restaurants and shopping just down the road. A truly amazing place. Would recommend. Will be back.

Hot tub was empty for a few days of our stay.
