The Surfjack Hotel and Swim Club

Location was good, close to a lot eateries and Waikiki Beach.

The rooms were smaller than what the pictures look like. Shorter pool hours for children.

The staff was super friendly. From arrival to the cleaning crew and restaurant staff. They cute ¿Instagram-able¿ touches. The pool was super clean. Each night they had live music. There were sanitizing stations throughout. A sunblock station too.

Parking was awful: we were offered underground parking for an extra fee through the hotel. They allow staff to park in the spots, see you have to wait for someone to come move your car each time you want to park again even though you paid for your spot.

Very clean and well appointed. Staff friendly and extremely helpful.

Loved the staff and the atmosphere! First time staying there. Definately a hidden gem.

Some things could have been a bit more updated

Friendly staff. Nice pool area. Close to Waikiki beach and shops. We were upgraded to a suite which was very spacious after being in a ship cabin for two weeks.

Staff are incredibly kind and they gave us a lovely room upgrade! Location is great with good food and shopping options. We really enjoyed the live music they provided. Love that we could request a microwave and water boiler for the room.

One of the rooms we had had a connecting door to another room. The door was very thin and we could hear everything the next door people were chatting about. It was as if they were in our room.

Exceptional

The bartender refused to make our drinks just a little bit sweeter than what was on the menu, we simply asked if the drink could add more syrup or sweetener or less alcohol because we liked it sweeter. However the bartender said the flavors had to be balanced and he couldn’t change the drink..

The location was central to everything and the hotel was beautiful. It was so calm and relaxing. We loved the restaurant and coffee shop at the hotel and there were so many places to lounge.

The parking situation is not the most ideal but pick up and drop off in front of the hotel was convenient.

Great location. Walkable distance to most shops and couple bus routes just around the corner.

Cleanliness: the pillows were stinky when we first got in and the room had an odor. Exchanged for fresh pillows but why weren’t they clean/fresh in the first place? Had bugs in the room and hair on the floor. Interiors seem dated.Noise: wall is super thin, you could clearly hear everything from the next room. We had someone playing music on speaker for the whole night and could hear them screaming and laughing. The facility has live music until 8:30pm and it also played music into the night (cause it’s kind of a restaurant/bar downstairs). If you shut the windows it’s pretty good sound proof but you will hear the noise from your neighbours and the corridor. WiFi: connection was extreme unstable, had to reconnect almost every half an hour. Shower: the hot water doesn’t seem to be consistent. Had to run the tap for at least 5 min to get some lukewarm water coming.

Super location! Near restaurants, shops. NO amenity fee! Bar on premises
