Kaimana Beach Hotel

Laid back atmosphere. Beautiful beach , wonderful staff.

Everything from check in to checking out. Mark the person checking us in was so friendly and i was so comfortable that i even remembered his name and thats not normal for me.

We loved the openess of the space when entering. The ocean breeze that constantly kept the temperture cool but not cold. The lady who cleaned our room was very nice and provided extra towels because I have long hair and went to the beach a lot.

There wasn't a variety of food in the hotel. Hamburgers and a few choices on the menu. We ate at the food court in town because the food at the hotel was limited and pricey.

Its proximity to Waikiki without being in the thick of that noisy city.

Some updated renovations to the room would have been nice. Modifications to the bathroom would turn the room around entirely.

For me it?s everything I want in a hotel in Waikiki. It?s quiet and secluded enough. It?s connected to one of my favorite beaches in Waikiki. It?s accessible enough. It?s clean, the room is big. It was great.

I wish they had 4 or 6 bikes instead of 3. I wish the bikes had a basket. If they were e-bikes then wow you could go so much further. I also wish the air conditioner wasn?t pointed directly above the bed. The living room area would get much hotter.

I booked this hotel as a Christmas gift for my parents and they have just raved about how wonderful it was! I asked my mom to rate each category and she went on and on about how perfect everything was. ?It was spotless!? ?The staff was so helpful!? Etc

The location...on a beach.

No pool, small, outdated room, unable to get a table in the restaurant at any time during the entire stay.

Comfortable bed

Water pressure in the shower is very weak. Activities were full so resort fees was a waste on us.

Clean, quiet, on the beach.

No fitness room. Mediocre food and overpriced.

Staff was very prompt and friendly. The private beach they had away from the main local area was nice.

A little further away from stores & restaurants but we still walked even though it took 15/20 minutes

Great location we were looking for. Next to Kapiolani Park and we were able to watch the last bit of the Honolulu marathon

Cute decor. On the ocean. Nice view of Diamondhead from room.

No answers to texts or phone calls. Power went out, no ability to get ready for trip home and no apology or help from staff. Door was locked to get in from beach. No staff to provide beach towels. Pricy restaurant.

A bit dated

The view on this beachfront property is amazing. The staff is very   friendly & helpful. Staff always greets us with a smile and staff (housekeeping) always asks and makes sure we have what we need. Lastly, the food at Hau Tree is phenomenal

We didn¿t like the carpet. We wish the amenities were listed at the time the reservation was made specially the list of classes so we could have planned accordingly.

The location of this hotel is perfect for avoiding the Waikiki traffic and crowds while still being very accessible to the main strip. Kaimana beach is great and draws locals and guests alike while never getting too crowded.

Hotel price was an amazing deal to be beachfront. Was given a free ocean view 8th floor view. Staff was helpful and very positive customer service stayed additional night. Booked next trip already.

We had ants in our room. Asked for a partial refund because we spotted ants on 3 occasions.

The location of the hotel away from the crowds of Waikiki, the easy access to the beach and the fabulous views from the oceanfront room made for an amazing stay.

the beach was right outside the back door although you had to walk around to the front of hotel to get back in

ALOT - smallest room I have ever stayed in - 2' available on each side of king bed they charge $60 to put a cot in the room - haven't a clue where you would put it construction in lobby so the view was visqueened off and non existent not 3.5 stars
