DoubleTree by Hilton Alana - Waikiki Beach

Clean. Valet staff was very professional and friendly.

Nothing I disliked. Would be nicer of course to have beach access.

$50 charge to check in early. The carpet and tile in room 805 was so dirty I can't get the stains out of my socks.

Staff was great - good communications

The air conditioning/fan was a bit loud. Also am allergic to down pillows and it was late so I didn’t call about them

The location was good, it was pretty much a 30min drive anywhere except the Polynesian cultural center was an hour drive, but so worth it.

The coffee maker hardly worked & there should be microwaves in the rooms. The refrigerator would freeze food too.

Hotel employee was wonderful with helping provide 1st aid for my husband who cut himself shaving and was bleading profuciously, bringing Gause & tape. And follow up call, next day on status. He is fine now.

The room had a terrible old stale order when first entered -like old dirty carpet. We inquired about other room of same style, on high floor, but was informed, no more available. Immediatety the smell went up my nose and down my throat making me cough

the location was great.

resort fee not sure why there was one considering this wqasnot a resort hotel , and the daily parking fee was also too high. but we knew that we were going to have to pay it

Amazing staff, rooms were clean and bigger than the normal standard hotel room, the beds were clean and comfortable, the warm cookies from the front desk were delicious. Valet service seems pricey, but totally worth it! Amazing valet staff!

The only thing missing in the room is a microwave.

Staff was friendly and nice and that It wasn?t too crowded.

That they charged a resort fee.

The staff was nice. Pleasent on check in and gave us a late check out the next day until 1:00 which was helpful.

The breakfast buffet is not worth it for the price.

The best thing I liked about this hotel I'd the water dispenser in the lobby. Valet staff was very fast getting our vehicle and unloading

The suites are a bit smaller. The room we were in was set up strange. We had a 2 queen suite with a sofa but there was a wall in the middle of the room making it feel small.

Dirty rooms asked to be walked to another Hilton property and was refused So after 2 hrs on the phone with Hilton I asked to be moved I was never to be moved until I asked went to the new room to find a centipede crawling on the curtain no refund offered

Easy access to the city and beach.

Didnt like to have valet parking.

Everything. Poor room, extremely poor bathroom. The a/c had problems. The toilet overflowed. The chairs were broken.

The staff was friendly and helpful

The hotel was rundown and dirty. The room was very small and the bed very uncomfortable. We had a huge lanai that was covered with trash , ants and cigarette butts so couldn¿t enjoy it.

Hotel employee was amazing, greeted me every morning by name and smile . Hotel employees friendly and best around with all needs. Together they all provided exceptional customer service!!! They are household names when talking about our trip to Hawaii!!

Close to lots of choices for food and shops

Mandatory valet and resort fee. This is not a resort. Definitely shows it's age in places. Plenty of "unhoused" around the property.

Great staff

I paid for a 4 star hotel.This hotel is old.I've been to better looking and more spacious 3 star hotel nearby.Parking and resort fee is over the top.No microwave in the room but offer one next to the front desk.Barely heats up. Pool is below average

Staff, location and appearance are a strong 4 star plus

The Resort fees are a little high, on top of parking fees.

Policy on late check out....requesting a late check out @1:00-1:30 is not very late. Also, being charged a fee on top of that which I thought was ridiculous so I had it refunded.

Location and so nice to have a balcony

The daily resort fee is ridiculous¿- they don¿t offer anything that was a benefit. If it would have been disclosed that there was a resort fee I would have stayed at another hotel that offers more amenities .
