Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach

Location, view, room, room service was so fast, pillows were great, walking distance to everything. Staff was friendly and helpful, very responsive.

The price was high for this hotel and the bed was so uncomfortable. I loved my stay, but I didn't sleep longer than a couple of hours at a time for the entirety. Everytime my partner moved or rolled over I felt like I was going to bounce out of the bed, and my back ached all night long, despite my position and the millions of extra pillows they brought us.

Location was spectacular, hotel was very clean and near everything we needed. Safe area, we were with the kids and we had a wonderful time. We will definitely be coming back!

Unfortunately the man at the valet out the front with the towels and umbrellas was so rude and condescending to my partner. My partner was very friendly and asked a couple of simple questions, it seemed like the man serving had a problem with him and we couldn’t figure out why. Each time we went through the doors we were nervous he was there - he was that off putting. A shame because the rest of the staff are lovely.

Don't put a suite on the 7th floor!

Great location if you're staying in Waikiki beach area. Tons of shops and malls within close walking distance. Plenty of restaurants and food options in the area. We had a nice partial view of the ocean from the room. Bathroom was clean and spacious with a large shower area. Hotel staff were super friendly and made sure our stay was a great one!

The room was a bit smaller than we expected with not enough room to comfortably open our 2 larger suitcases. No table or desk/working area in our room so we felt there was no adequate space to place smaller items. Not enough outlets to plug your electronics or chargers as the main outlets were hidden behind the bedside tables, with only one free outlet on either side of the bed. The bedside table lamp switch was also inconvenient to turn on/off. The bathroom fan was running very loud and seemed to be needing a fix or replacement.

The front desk staff and concierge were consistently unhelpful and unpleasant to deal with. Valet and bell staff were excellent.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel because it was close to everything. They were super accommodating and honered my request for a birthday surprise for my family member.

My only criticism is that there are stains on the carpet and couch, but the room is definitely clean otherwise. Also, it's not a huge detractor, but the light in the bathroom can be a bit dim.
