    Cons -

    • No towels, no bedding , no housekeeping, no workers. Disruptive protestors. Our children were afraid of the loud striking happening from 0600-2200 every night.
    • Had a unpleasant smell, sheets were rough
    • The room we had was old and felt hodge-podged with repairs. It worked for our 2 night stay. Super busy and staff was just mediocre on service.

The location is awesome, close to the beach, close to shops, entertainment etc.

Location was great. Close to everything.

Valet parking was slow. I paid for it , but could have self parked faster. The Valet scanner to call for your vehicle never worked and only seemed like one valet working at any given time. Calling down to preorder valet service did not work either.

The room space and the fact it had a kitchen.Staff was friendly. Grounds were clean and beautiful. Walking distance to shopping and Waikiki.

Construction next door, noisy. Remodel of one elevator made it a horrible wait each time you needed one!

    Everything meet my expectations

Close to beach pools were close & clean & good for relaxation

This is our 4th year in a row that we have come & we get put in rooms facing the Ilikai why can't we get a room on the other side facing the ocean

All the amenities. Staffs are awesome especially the house keepers.

The beach has so much stones but otherwise it’s ok as long you wear beach shoes.

The property was in a perfect location. Everything was only a couple miles away or within walking distance. It was right on the beach, the staff checked on us constantly. They were absolutely amazing. They made our stay perfect.

The thing we didn’t care for was the layout was a little confusing, but by day three or four we got it down.

It's great to have your own kitchen & living area & 2 bathrooms. The beds are comfortable. Location was great for us as we were attending something at the Convention Centre.

There was a roaring noise in the second bedroom that was very disturbing at night time & made it difficult to sleep (coming from outside, sounded like air-conditioning vents / the roaring noise you hear all night on a plane flight). (We were in Lagoon Tower, facing Ilikai, floor 6). We spoke with front desk & they didn't do anything for us.

Right on the beach. Lots of shops and good restaurants

There was a strike during our stay. The people that were hired to replace the strikers were wonderful. The Hotel was beautiful, and the location was great! We just wished we had been able to enjoy it all. The fireworks show was beautiful but even the strikers were trying to ruin it by banging on large drums.

There was a strike during our stay. We were not advised of the strike or given a chance to change our reservation. There was trash in the hallways, no housekeeping and we had to go to different floors to get towels or coffee, or just about any amenity. There were strikers yelling, blowing horns, hitting drums from 6am to 10pm. We could not enjoy the pools because the strikers surrounded the pools and some of the beach area and chanted and yelled. There was no service at the pools, as far as food and drinks. If we wanted to eat on property, we had to go over to the Rainbow bazar and eat pizza or sandwiches. There was no room service. We spent most of the time outside of the resort, so we could enjoy some quiet.

We loved the location. The 2 bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable.

There was an employee strike happening. No valet parking available. Parking TOO expensive for self parking. Room was not as clean as expected. Had guest self service to stock rooms. For the cost of the stay that should not be the case. The strikers were very loud. Many times disturbing sleep.

We had one day that we had our room serviced and amenities that we paid for.

We arrived the day before the housekeeping staff went on an open ended strike. The first day was amazing from there on it was challenging. The rest of our holiday we had striking workers on horns, megaphones and chanting from 6.00 am to 10.00pm everyday. The striking workers wandered around the resort any time of the day or night chanting even had drums at times. We had paid for full room service but what we got was hallways littered with rubbish and dirty towels. No room service, had to find our own clean towels and other supplies we had paid for. No way of cleaning our room, the floors were dirty. There were cafes at the pools closed. This was our 3rd trip to this resort and we had recommended it to lots of our family and friends. Never again as we were told that there had been a strike for 3 days a few weeks ago.We were given a small refund but certainly not enough to compensate for the inconvenience and more so the noise from day light until late.No apologies from management it seems they were happy to let it go on. The receptionist was apologetic but they are not in a position to do anything.

Wonderful location on the beach with full service hotel close to restaurants, shopping and activities.

More specific information on the bed set-up of the rooms would have been preferred. We called ahead and requested the second bedroom of the 2-bedroom unit have 2 full beds. We ended up with 2 twin beds. It worked out but had to use the sofa sleeper in the living room.
