Hampton Inn & Suites Valdosta/Conference Center

The Location

The Hotel is being renovated and there was debris every where, the elevator was filthy. The staff disengaged.

The hotel was under renovation and we were told the 4th floor was completed. However, the 1st had a non-working A/C and the room we were switched to had bathtub that was rusted at the drain and that room had a howling sound only heard at night.

This hotel is doing renovations so it was very dirty. The rooms were old and the carpets were flity

STAFF

it was VERY much in need of cleaning and general maintenance - the common hallways and elevators were sooooo dirty - the rooms were in need of deep cleaning and repairs of walls, curtains, etc

The room had a bad smell and the carpet was tacky and dirty. I took a shower and by the time I put my socks on, my feet were black and had fuzzy on them.

Bathroom light didn't work. Wallpaper peeling, Extra people (children) with housekeeping staff at 9:30 at night.

The staff was very nice

I was very disappointed in the condition of this Hampton! It was the most rundown Hampton I have EVER seen. The Carpet was filthy and the wallpaper was falling down EVERYWHERE, NONE of the the Gym equipment worked. I cannot believe Hampton would approve!

Hotel is in bad need of a refresh. Hall carpets were terrible stained and wall paper falling down. Room furniture was badly worn. That said. Bed was clean. Expected better at this price point

This hotel is dirty, dirty, dirty! The carpets in the halls are dirty! The carpet in the room was dirty! The furniture in the room was dirty! The bathroom was dirty! This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at!

No power. No discount price. No towels

Elevators were down Doors to outside could not access as system had outages Lobby and hallways were hot like no ac Pool had no towels by it and was full of lots of chlorine Couldn?t eat bfast to hot in lobby plus selection of food was not good

AC went out in the middle of the night the first night we stayed. Still not fixed after we left for the day and came back. Staff was not accommodating with moving rooms; we checked out early. The carpet throughout the hotel was disgusting.

The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and the price was good.

Both elevators were broke which made getting luggage to and from the room difficult. The breakfast ran out of several items with plenty of time before closing.

The location and size of the room

The day we arrived only one elevator was working and then that one stopped for over 24 hours! We were on the 4th floor and it was awful. Also, the pillows were horrible and we had to go to Walmart and buy some to be able to sleep.

TV and fridge issues .... the cleaning staff stole a table from our room claimed it was wrapped up in the sheets when changing only one of the beds....

No housekeeping services provided, the tv in our room didnt work during our entire five day stay (despite daily requests for repairs), the construction noise wasnt appreciated

Location

This hotel hasn¿t been updated in 60 years. Walls falling apart, smelly more like what you would expect from a motel 6. Not a Hampton!!!

Close to interstate

This hotel looks like a time-warp from the 60s. Old everywhere. We were placed in a handicap room. The ceiling in the bedroom had patches from water leaks, the curtains wouldn't close fully and the shower smelled like sewer. Wouldn't recommend to anyone
